I can petition the Dean to let me in, which he 11/10 won't let me because he's notorious for that. Or I can do what I'm doing right now. Send the Intermediate Algebra requirements (what's covered in the class), to the registrar at the college I'm transferring to, and if the Mathematics department there accepts it, I can transfer a non-college level course as a transferable course. If they accept then I can begin with precalculus in the fall.
I had to wait three hours to speak to a counselor and get the petition form. By the time I filled it out, I couldn't find the teacher who said she would sign it. The community college math department will be closed tomorrow because the assistant/secretary is gone, so I have to wait until monday to turn the petition in. My summer class sign up is tomorrow at 3:00p. This means that I'll sign up for Intermediate Algebra, and if my petition is accepted I'll go online, drop Alg, and add Precal.
So much friggin' trouble.
