I officially despise my new math teacher . . . and it's only the first day of class.

Hello Alaunt. I'm terribly sorry about your math teacher.

Here's my first day observation of him:

- Snarky personality
- Uses harsh tones of voice
- The two above lead to his "Wanna be drill instructor" way of teaching
- In a reference to a past student he sexually harassed her (verbally of course) in a way that said "bombshell bod, but dumb as hell, with a rich boyfriend who buys her everything" (Which actually is pretty much what he said, but in a more sexually harassing way).
- He stereotypes against high schoolers (while their in the class) by saying they "pick their noses and act dumb and don't do shit" (there was more, but I don't recall it all).
- And he doesn't sound or act like he enjoys his job.

That is terrible, without a doubt. D:

Yup. And here's what they say about him on ratemyprofessor.com:

"Terrible teacher. He's rude and a bitter. He doesn't want to help out students. He gives way to much homework. He'll give you a lot of assignments on a Tue night and expect you to have it done by Thur night that same week. He thinks his class is the only one that matters. Do not take this teacher."

"He is a difficult teacher and can't even calculate your grade properly. 2 weeks after then finally he sent us an e-mail saying that he miscalculated the grades and so everyone's grade will be lower. Awful teacher, doesn't care about his students, makes fun of them in class."

"NOT RECOMMENDED! Has no passion in teaching or making sure you understand the subject. Dare not ask a question twice or beware the bite! Solves problems on board as if he were doing it for himself and therefore does them quickly which often times he makes a mistake and the students have to correct him. "He is a disgrace to the great teachers here. He should not be teaching. He makes fun of students when they ask questions in class. He prefers intimidating his students to teaching them. He is the farthest thing from a teacher"

"I don't like him. He insults his students by way of twisted humor which personally makes me uncomfortable. He explains things okay but I really hate having quizes at the end of *every single class*. He's boring and at times hard to follow."

"I hate this guy's teaching. I'm taking Algebra cuz I never learned it and he acts like I should already know it. Math is the backbone of my major and I would appreciate it if he realized that he should be helping build the knowledge foundation of my major. He's an old republican that doesn't care about the world cuz he'll be dead soon. nuff said"

the worst math teacher at Georgia Tech.

His exams are random. He gives us a huge arse study guide and then puts stuff on the exam not on the studyguide.
We have only 50 mins for tests, he gives us 3 hour exams.

He makes you spend half your time simplifing one stupid matrix and requiring you use that matrix on every other problem on the exam.

he was mean when i went to ask him a question, and never posted final exams.
