Yeah, since my grandmother had to be put in a nursing home and she isn't going to be able to come back home to stay we may have to sell the house and move. So we've been doing lots of cleaning and I've been looking for a job.

awww... is your grandma ok?

@ xuvrette: That's kind of long story. You see my grandfather died last October and my grandmother was extremely upset. She really took his death hard because they had been married for almost 63 years. She wants to be with him so she started to eat less and less and would just sit around thinking about him. She would talk to him and stuff. We tried to get her to eat more and to do things, but she'd get really upset. We would have to stop asking and stuff so she'd calm down. She got weak and fell several times. We tried everything we could to change her mind and get her to eat more. She got sick around the end of January and the doctor put her in the hospital. After she was better he sent her to the nursing home for rehab. She's doing very well there and likes it there. She hasn't really said anything about coming home and she's been there for a month. She can't come home and it's better that she doesn't because she'll go back to starving herself and not wanting to do things. We can't let that happen.

I can see the beauty of the bounding between your grandparents.
Anyway, beautiful love is one thing, but living life to its extent is also important. I guess your grandma just need some other thing to distract her.

@ xuvrette: Yeah. She likes playing bingo and doing the other activities the nursing home has. She also has made friends with several of the residents. Being around people her own age has been helping her.

You can never guess that being around with people same age with the old generations help a lot.

*nods* Though sometimes it doesn't work out so well, but that really depends on the person.
