The books are definitely better . . . I just like watching it to see how the characters are interpreted . . . I feel like it's going too slow . . .
Legend of the Seeker is based off of Terry Goodkinds Wizards First Rule . . . The second season is based off of the second book. There are eleven/twelve books total. The first book is the only one that I can stand to re-read word for word. The second book I can read through parts. I've gotten up to book four, then I stopped, 'cause I got so fed up with the characters. Granted I was in sixth/seventh grade when I read them and it is adult level reading (I've been at that level since third/fourth grade). The TV series is really good. You know how people get mad that something was added or taken out and what not? Well, I've noticed that plots occur that never happened in the books and there are plots (and thus characters) that are never put to screen. But I still love it none-the-less! It's really good. Season 2 Episode 1 just aired on Saturday evening.
