Yes. But chips are really thick things served hot. French fries on steroids. xD Every time I hear "British Chips = French Fries" I cringe. Those piddly little things have =nothing= on a good chip. :P Plus, chip buttys are woooonderful. Can't do -that- with french fries.

Don't get me started on main entrees though. xD

My roommate bought a box of biscuits (that's cookies to you), and I went squee when I discovered chocolate covered pretzels in the mixture. After sorting them all out and hoarding them to myself, I creep back to my room with my spoils....bite...and....it's chocolate covered pretzel-shaped shortbread. :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:

I could make you not-hungry by talking about some of the other things we eat around here, though. I caused a ruckus in the Town Hall during the event by talking about what I like for dinner, because not only does the name mean something thoroughly inappropriate in American, the contents of it are....un-hungry-making.

Aylin I've seen that on the travel channel. Makes me want to puke.

There's not -much- American food I miss. I think the 'complete list' is "sausage, sour cream and onion crisps, and American-style apple cider". But those couple of things just...can't be beaten.

I think the strangest thing I've ever had is when my friends from Shanghai invited me over to celebrate Chinese New Year with them. They made a salad that had strips of crunchy chewy salty something in it. I asked what it was, and after a lot of fussing with the Chinese-English dictionary, we finally came up with "raw pig's ear". xD

The remains of this bitten shortbread travesty are still on my desk, while the rest of them are back in the box. T_T
