the only reason i had a december wedding was because well one we didn't want to get screwed over by taxes so it was a last minute thing and 2 we had met on december 6th so we thought it would be the best day to get married

I had a halloween themed wedding for the small one, but then as it was held on halloween it only made sense. My brides mades wore black with orange sashes, and the made of honor wore orange with a black sash....she also got to wear a long velvet cloak.

I wore white but also had a cloak... and my makeup was done to look very bride of the dead.

The grooms men where in black with orange....my husband however also wore white...and looked like my groom to be xP

the cake was mostly orange...with black floral designs and two skeleton brides and grooms on the top.

Me and my husband also met at a halloween party...so halloween is our favorite day of the year.

i have always loved halloween!! and you wedding sounds like it was wonderful!! i wish i could have seen it!!

i have pics up in my profile of my wedding just a few pics though and you can tell fromthe pics that we did not spend much at all on our wedding (we didn't have the money to spend)

lol this wedding which was the real wedding I didn't spend much on at all...I made the dresses myself....with the help of grandmother and mother.....and I made the cake from scratch with the help of the made of honor whom owns a bakery.

The other wedding was big and flashy and I hated every minute of it *rolls eyes*
my husbands grandmother paid for the entire thing. I wore a kimono in that one.

IF you wanted it odd you should of had the halloween theme in like Feb hehe

Taxes suck... My poor nana because he hubby pasted away she got a pay cut of 25dollars because she's single T_T I was like damnit! She's like I know thats like a tank of gas or something gone!

I like the wedding ideas from what you guys did. Its neat. I am getting married in a small chapel in my hometown. Its small and lovely. We are doing big lilies and daisies with a whole fairytale thing only not the ohh I am a princess... more ahh faries don't est the food or you will be trapped here forever...lol >.<

I still have yet to think of what I wanted... I had one plan but its gone now *bites her lip*

Tee hee thats only what we wore lol

we did all sorts of things to confuse people all night...

at the reception everyone had to take off there shoes and put them in a tree......now you either had to go barefoot the entire night or you had to wear someone elses shoes....those where the rules (except mike who was suffereing a foot fungus at the time)

we would put random coat hangers in really random places to confuse people

or the fact that we had some guy dress up like dumbledore and everyone kept bowing to him and calling him seisi xP

or when the food was just about to come out a few people sneakily got there food and left the others to wonder where it came from xP

we used a gym of a school that my husband's parents knew the owners of so we didn't have to pay for that my husbands mom bought the cake it was all pretty with roses that was most likely the most expensive part of the wedding. my husband's dad's wife just used a bunch of likghts and decorations they had for the decortions there so didn't have to pay for that mu husband used a nice shirt and pair of pants he already had so no money there and my wedding dress i picked up at the salvation army for 40 bucks! so all we spent on was my dress and the cake! but the only part that came from out pockets was the dress!! ^_^

well when you find the pics you will have to let me know i would love to see them!!

Aww I am unsure of what the cost will be for ours. I am not supper thin and that makes finding a dress a pain.. but I have some ideas.. I have thought about saying screw the white dress thing. I look horrid in white. >.< I am supper pale so it washes me out badly. >.<

well the white dress is just a simple of purity and virginity anyways. and actually most of the dress at salvation army where to big for me

@ Jo.... humm I will have to take a look around here then. And yeah it is not a very old tradition. Originaly you wore your best dress of any color. Queen Victoria started the white dress thing up and it stuck. she did it to show she was a virgin. >.<

yeah most people today aren't virgin's anymore when they get married. i am sure what ever you decide it will look lovely!!!

lol Yeah about the same here. Thinking on taking a nap before time to go get my oldest son from school. I got very little sleep. >.<

yeah i don't get the choice of a nap cause it is like when i finally fall asleep is when my son wakes up from his nap >.>

lol I have been there myself, but I have a fiance whos on break from school so I got lucky.. that will go away on the 12th. .><

ah well i don't know what i am going to do if i get pregnant again i swear i won't get any sleep at all then!!
