Usually we don't hand out infractions for those cases unless there is a severe need for it when any party takes it to the extreme or if they have been found to have been consistently brewing up trouble for people or if they do not heed initial post or PM reminders/warnings to tone it down or let it drop.
As Sil said earlier, it is not easy to intervene unless you are the thread owner or staff member, so just putting that out to let people know if they encounter situations they can't control. :yes:

I am aware. I believe this went so far that one of the two actually got an expiring 100-points infraction, but yeah.
