I'm back from playing some Fangirls.

-.- I think my iPod wants me to listen to the same song over and over. I know I have tons of songs and it's set to shuffle but yet... Here I am listening to Behind the Sea. Oh well, at least I happen to like the song.

There are far too many sellers and far too few buyers in the market.

The market is still flooded with certain items, like Halloween 09 EIs. There are few people with funds. Most that have funds are questing for something big - has been like that since the NPC gifts were introduced - and most others are trying to reign in funds for the upcoming events as well as some items they hope to get.

There are few ACTIVE buyers in the exchange atm, and the active buyers almost always are searching for fairly rare items. 07/early 08 CIs, 07 EIs, etc. Makes it all a tad difficult to find buyers.

That's why I don't know if I want to fool with the Exchange. It's unbalanced as heck. That and I don't see me owning any of those older CIs and EIs. They're nice looking but they cost too much.

I wish I had funds. I haven't been around long though.

I'm hoping that auctioning off CI pre-order slots will be successful for me. This is the first month I'm trying it for, and I already surpassed my personal goal, so I'm pretty happy with it so far. I'm crossing my fingers that it'll go smoothly every month I decide to be a supplier, since that's really my only source of decent income. I just can't manage to max out either of my accounts on gaming.

Liz: it's not too hard to work with the market here, but it's usually bad after an event, because people have drained their funds and often, but not always, there is an overkill of those most recent EIs in the market.

If you are selling either the current CIs or items from mid-08 or before, the market isn't too bad. Same about a few popular, rare CIs from late 08 and 09. Further it's hard to reach a deal atm. Hopefully the balance restores itself within a few days of the new CIs coming in.

I really would like to see a slow re-release of older items into the market, to free up some resources.

Selly, that's one thing I did notice. There are a bunch of the Valentine Day EIs for sale and most are sold as a set. But I don't see many being bought.

I might try it once I get a better selection to sell. I'd like to make some kind of income on here.

Some of the older users are quiting over the whole ordeal with Gabriel and Inso yesterday, it seems. Or at least, that's the way it looks. In which case said CIs will likely be sold for gold to buy art or donated. Might bring a few items into the market, although not TOO many, I fear.

Site-wide, there are not exactly much of said items. Hence them inflating like hell.

I kinda feel like it is silly for people to leave over that issue last night. I hate inflation unless I'm the one making some gold off of it. >.> And even then, I like to give a fair price.

Yeah, it's sad that people are leaving over it. I considered it, but I like the community too much. The number of good users here far outweighs the bad.

In all honesty, it is their choice. If they feel they cannot continue in a normal way at Mene, it's perhaps better that they quit, for if they stay but are frustrated, it is only likely that that will rack up problems.

Bartuc has been logging in at times. I saw him a few times, didn't get to talk to him, though.

He stopped by his hangout for a bit. I'm glad he's doing better now.

Yeah, I understand that it might be best for them to leave if they can't view this place the same way as before and there is a chance of resentment building up. I just don't want to see good people leave.

I hope he will feel great again one day... one day soon. He deserves it.

Liz: I know, it's always sad to see people leave. But if I look through the list of (former) regulars of this thread, I see so many that have quit or been banned that by now I stopped getting distressed over people I hardly knew leaving.

Well all I can say good people won't wont leave because of some jerks.But it is still sad to see those people leave because some dude is frustrated

Yeah, some don't, but when that some jerk kindof owns the website... I can understand feeling the need to leave.
