I do sort of agree with, or at least understand Inso's decision about the mule issue. I cannot say that I agree with, or understand, the way he handled the issue.

Yeah, I pretty much feel the same way right now.

However, I have been a mod at several sites, and I believe there is more to this issue than just what we have seen in the forums. An administrator usually does not react like that if all that happened is what was posted.

Nah, there is no tension between Keyori and me. Either we will agree, or we will agree to disagree. I doubt either of us will make a big mess of things.

Yeah. I can understand how Inso felt, but I think that abuse of power is the main reason users are feeling the need to leave. I can't blame them for feeling insecure now.

That was probably a fragment of the rules, Duo, which says nothing. However, I guess that it would indeed be a warning in said situation.

Keyori: True, but if people are not provoking staff, staff - or rather, Inso - will not get so frustrated that he resorts to the antics he displayed yesterday. For example, what I can imagine that made Inso QUITE frustrated with Gabe already was the comment Gabriel posted in Daria's profile. A comment which cannot be taken in any other way than provoking.

Keyori: Of course, it still does not mean that Inso should have resorted to what he did, but what people easily forget is that even an administrator - especially an administrator - is human too. Yes, the job asks for a certain amount of professionalism.
However, so does working in a shop. If someone yells at you, you will probably stay calm. However, if someone keeps circling around you or starts bothering your colleagues with rude, provoking statements and refuses to stop with it, keeps yelling at you and threatening to make things a 'PR nightmare', is it likely that you will stay calm? No.
Professionalism only goes so far, a job only goes so far. Below that, there is a human, and after a while said human will have enough and do whatever is in their possibility to stop that person. In Inso's case, because he has power, might, using that is also within his possibilities. In a situation like this, it is not a GOOD thing that he resorted to what he did... but it is something that shows he too is a human.
