So basically I've been in theater for 6 years.. this is my first year not doing it because of college and whatnot, blah blah.
Anyway, in high school, my director always took a very select group of students to work on a piece for a month and then take it to competition. Well theres a LOT of other schools.. usually about 20.. that compete in this place as well.
It's a professional theater, and it takes the entire day. Basically, we compete, watch other schools preform (we usually brought 2 pieces to the competition), watch the professional people do their own show (they also judge us), and then have the award ceremony at night.
For the past 2 years, I was the one (and the ONLY actress 2 years in a row) to win the "Best Actress" awards out of the 20 schools. Well, one of the judges/actors (I've been going since freshman year and I've idolized him for 4 years) found my facebook and kept in touch with me after the last competition....

Well, we haven't talked in quite a while, but he (my IDOL) commented on how well I did and all this wonderful stuff...
WELL NOW *drum roll*
HE started his own company, and wants me to audition over the summer!! This means that if I am in one of his shows.. I WILL HAVE ACTORS EQUITY and be a full time, professional actress!!!!!!!!!!!
