A writing contest, huh? Are we allowed to host the story online and then PM you the link to it? I might try my hand at this... I love writing and I've been in writing contests in the past...

Yes some spelling and grammer mistakes are ok but if you are entering a writing contest then the least you should do is use spell check.

I don't think in a writing contest that you should be allowed to have their stories beta read by other people. It should be completely the person's skill in writing and editing.

Cricket: In just normal conversations, people should be able to master the basic grammar and spelling rules. But when you are writing a story, you might happen to stumble upon words you don't know how to spell for sure. 'specially when you're not a native speaker.
I think I will allow beta's, but if someone has had his story read by a beta, they have to tell me.
It's save here, though. Lilith, Clair and me are the only people around here, and neither of us is the person you mean.

Well I never know if that person is going to show up or not, but you have a better chance of knowing than I do. Uncalled for? Hardly. What that person did was uncalled for, but you'll probably never see it that way.

Silenia, would you like the items you gave me yesterday back? I just don't feel that the charity forum is where I belong, as I'll most likely keep finding that person in other charities. I'd rather not deal with them, or schedule my posting in charities for when they're not posting.

I prefer nice conversations or not-so-nice conversations. But in anyway, conversations/discussions/debates/arguments. Not someone saying sorry for everything she - or someone else on this world - does wrong/

Clair: Yeah, and that person is in the other charities I wanted to be a member of. Especially Love's charity. I liked it there, until she went there.

And she got me in trouble with an AA because I was being direct, but she must've blown it out of proportion and made it seem like oh I was so horrible. She's the reason I shut my charity down, by the way.
