Some of my teachers are the same.

We once had an experiment regarding what happens when Sodium and water contact. First time: he takes a very small bit of Sodium and drops it in a bowl of water. Controlled explosion. Twenty minutes later, he shows a student what Sodium looks like, takes quite a bit of Sodium - and accidentally lets it fall into the water. He was just in time to put a book on top of the bowl. Book had very obvious burnmarks on it afterwards.

AMG. xD That's hilarious, Sil. My teacher once did a demonstartion that ended with a fireball spreading across the ceiling (fortunately it didn't burn). He also has three hundred... mole.... jokes. .__.
