Cats are like kids, a lot -- like overactive 3-year olds when they're young, and then grumpy tired 3-year olds when they're older. :P They respond well to consistency and routine, and love to play, especially when you don't think you're playing. I remember with my middle cat, I couldn't hold a pencil for about a month when she was a kitten, because pencils were automatically toys, and she'd bite it out of my hands or bat it or just watch and wait for her chance. Now, with her, it's bottle caps, especially from beer bottles: she'll bat them around the wooden floor of our apartment for an hour on end.

I always thought like 5'5" - 5'8"ish was average for girls.

My uncle's cat Toska (named so because she never shut up) used to love pens, I was always a very artsy girl and whenever I did a spot of colouring she would steal them. She once clawed my hand to get at the green. I was not impressed :lol:

I am a rather odd person, so it isn't at all suprising I am not of avarage height :lol:

That's a good idea but I don't think it's sold here in Egypt and I'm not sure if the candy here is good enough quality for my cookies :XD

Shame they're not sold in Egypt, they would be awesome in cookies. If you chopped them up and mixed them in like you would chocolate chips and then bake them they would go all gooey and awesome :D

I love cookies. I just wish I knew someone who could bake. I am an awful cook, I love cooking, but I can't do it without major catastrophes. My exam gateux (sp) was a total fail, one side was burnt and it was lopsided :(

Well in your defense cakes are harder to make then cookies. If you want I can give you a very simple recipe for chocolate chip cookies.

Bear with me. It's long. I also included a recipe with marshmallows.

Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
2 ½ cups of all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup dark brown sugar
½ cup white sugar
1 cup salted butter, softened
2 large eggs
2 teaspoon OR 2 packets of vanilla extract
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 150° C (300° F)
In a medium bowl combine flour, soda and salt. Mix well with wire whisk. Set aside.
In a large bowl with an electric mixer blend sugars at medium speed. Add butter and mix to a grainy paste, scraping down the sides of the bowl. Add eggs and vanilla extract and mix at medium speed until just blended. Do not overmix.
Add the flour mixture and chocolate chips and blend at low speed until just mixed. Do not overmix.
Drop by rounded tablespoons onto an ungreased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart. Bake 22-24 minutes or until golden brown. Transfer cookies immediately to a cool surface with a spatula.
 
Marshmallow Clouds
Ingredients:
3 cups of all-purpose flour
2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 cup white sugar
1 cup light brown sugar
1 cup salted butter, softened
2 large eggs
2 teaspoon OR 2 packets of vanilla extract
2 cups miniature semisweet chocolate chips OR 1 cup regular size chocolate chips
2 cups miniature marshmallows, frozen
Preheat oven to 205° C (400° F). Until you are ready to assemble the cookies just prior to baking, keep the marshmallows in the freezer – otherwise they will thaw to rapidly.
In medium bowl combine flour, cocoa and baking soda. Set aside.
Combine sugars in a large bowl. Using an electric mixer, blend in butter, scraping down the sides of the bowl. Add eggs and vanilla and beat at medium speed until light and fluffy.
Add the flour mixture and chocolate chips and blend at low speed until combined. Batter will be very stiff.
Gather 4-5 frozen marshmallows in the palm of your hand and cover them with a heaping tablespoon of dough. Wrap the dough around the marshmallows, completely encasing them and forming a 2-inch-diameter dough ball.
Place balls on ungreased baking sheets, 2 inches apart. Bake 8-10 minutes. Cool on pan 2 minutes, then transfer to a cool, flat surface.
