I just got done with two sinkloads of dishes, sit down and feel all smug with myself. Then I realize that the ONE pot I really needed to wash is still sitting on the stove, dirty. >.>'

Ok, so I can be a little slow sometimes. I'll just have to stick it in the sink to soak the next time I wander into the kitchen, and then make my fiancee wash it when he gets home from work if he wants dinner. XD

Got my pot of stew started. Right now it's just the half frozen meat in a broth set to boil for a while. When I think it's getting close to done, I'll wake my fiancee from his nap and make him cut the potatoes for me. After THEY get mostly done, then I'll throw in the cabbage and a can of beer. XD

(when cooking with alcohol, the 'alcohol' part cooks off, leaving a non-alcoholic beer flavor in the meat)

But... I think it's going to take a while. He may convince me to get some cheap burgers while we're stirring this mess, and eat the stew tomorrow.

Beer in stew? That sounds amazingly delicious. I want soooome~! ;D;

Not yet. It's planned for the next time I have both brats and beer in the house at the same time. XD

We generally don't have beer in the house, I had to dig a home made Ale I was given a while ago out of the back of the fridge for this - but it isn't IRISH stew without a little... something extra. ^_~

The spazzing of the fish really catches me off. It's such a limited space for the two points to meet as it is... ugh. Also right before two practically back to back events is a rather horrible time for them to lower the cap on game gold.
