It's neither your fault nor your problem, Clair.
Only 1.2k fixed costs to go for this month.
Which is a good thing.
I should not have ranted here. Sorry.

I don't know. I live in the Netherlands, and our school system is different.
Clair: By listening you help me already.

You do. I cannot rant towards my parents or sister - they feel like crap already.
I have no one else to rant to. You are here. You listen.
Thank you for that.

@Clair: I am a citizen of the United States.
I live in Virginia.
So if you live in America do you know why 9th graders don't have orientations?

Because I don't live in Virginia.
I'm not entirely sure what you're talking about.
What do you mean by orientation?

@clair: Orientation meaning Open house when you meet your teachers.
The school i go to is in the top 5 best schools in America so i'm guessing its for the best.

Meeting your teachers? We have that for like every grade. Not really one on one, but still.

High school isn't that bad.

We don't have it for every grade, just for Ninth graders to get ready for high school.
The rest of the grades meet their teachers throughout the years.

Well here we don't have orientations for 9th graders.
So on the first day of school (which is in 5 days) it will be like a scavenger hunt finding your classrooms.

We now have Kick off mentors for all freshmen.
=)
I am one of them. We show kids to their homerooms and such on the first day, where freshmen have the school all to themselves.
