Sounds nice. I barely prepared for my own charity. xD I decided to make one during a Valentines Event, but realized that was not a smart thing to do, so I waited until after the event, which was two days later. Randomly thought up a name/title, made some rules and started donating - which I did before anyway, but didn't register it. It worked out fairly well.

Quickly lost count of what I donated and stopped keeping an actual list - went so far that I even started to donate to people in other people's charities, to the charities and their owners and to random people. xD

At the moment I started with my charity, I had not even been at Mene for 1,5 months, had barely any items or gold, but didn't let that bother me.
Now I've got most items I want. I gained all this through my charity - if I am questing, people help me. If I want something, people donate to me. If I try to gain gold, people encourage me. xD Without my charity, I'd be a lot poorer, not richer, than I am now. xD

So I can tell you - you're a lot better prepared than I was when I started my charity. xD

Man, I am so exhausted today

I don't know how much was in the old rules - 2k, I think. I believe some of my friends at the hangouts helped me gain that back then. xD

Not certain, memories of that time are kind of clouded.

Yeah - there are things I'd like to have, but I don't bother. First I need to get my charity back on track, then there are like 20 other things I should have done when I wasn't around here at Mene I've got to do, and then I can perhaps start on what I'd like.

Same for quite a couple of my other CIs and EIs. Just went through my inventory, and I got surprised. Without ever realizing it, I got pretty rich here. xD I kind of forgot how much of the CIs and EIs I managed to get before I suddenly disappeared from Mene.

Got one of the Oct 07 CIs (Panda Slippers), both of Nov 07 CIs (Winter's Flight; Glacial Circlet), both Dec 07 CIs. Then I have neither of the Jan 08 CIs, but I've got all CIs between Feb 08 and Oct 08, miss both Nov 08 CIs, then both Dec 08 CIs and both Jan 09 CIs. None of those after them, though. There are even some I got double, usually for charity purposes. xD Either to give away or to sell for funds.

I'll try and help you to get to that 4k needed, though.

Mhmm. I had a long day the day before (tubing and kneeboarding) so my body is physically exhausted and i'm really sore. Plus I got a sunburn thats rather painful (even though I put sunblock on several times while out there). And my cat decided at 4 in the morning that he needed his attention for the day and kept patting me to wake him up to pet him, while my dog took up over half of the bed so I slept sideways with a corner of the covers. >_>;;

I burn like crazy too Suo. I can put on 50 multiple times, and still walk away a lobster. It's so not fun. It does sound like you had fun though:)
