@ Rainy - Yes, grandparents are truely a wonderful thing that are overlooked. People don't realize how great they are, until they're gone. Its how the best things in life are.

And I looove rain. :drool:
Its raining today, and it makes me happy. It thundered earlier, and I was so hoping that it'd storm and thunder and get lightning, but it died down. :<

sadrain 11-28-2009 10:02 PM

That, unfortunately, is true. >:

Omg, I love thunder storms, too. They are so... majestic! <3 I really don't know how to word it differently. x3 They and rain are just eppiiic. <3

Suona 11-29-2009 06:46 AM

Mhmm. Quite sad.

Yes, they're wonderful. I dont know how to explain it either

sadrain 11-29-2009 01:35 PM

One must try to think otuside that frame, then. D8

They just... move me somehow. <33 And rain has got that special feeling of... I don't know, purity. Especially sometimes. Mm.

Suona 12-02-2009 07:52 AM

Mhmm. That would be good.

Yeah, and its just so relaxing. I enjoy it.

Ahh thunderstorms! I am alright with thunderstorms if I am in the safety of my house and I can see cool lightning striking in the distance. However I have been outside when there was a thunderstorm and the thunder was so strong and loud it shook my entire body and made my ears rings. It was genuinely freaky for me. T___T

sadrain 12-02-2009 09:40 PM

Ahh, that might not be very great experience to be out in such thunderstorm... I don't know how I would react to that. Probably get nervous, considering all the getting into safe cover and such. >.< *huggles Minnie*

Suona 12-03-2009 08:36 AM

Yeah, that could be a little scary. I'm not fond of dangerous situations. ;~;

I, too, tend to prefer to watch neat things like that from a distance when they can be so dangerous up close.

-pokes head and check around- who is alive?

sadrain 12-04-2009 08:49 PM

I am. 8D

M i n u x e 12-05-2009 05:50 AM

I too am alive! University life has not killed me yet. xD

@sad: *hugs back* <3
Ya, I think you would be nervous out in a storm.

@Suona: There aren't many people that like to put themselves into dangerous situations.
It's nice to know you are in a safe place during a dangerous time.

Suona 12-05-2009 05:52 AM

I completely agree, Minu
Safety is good

Arikana 12-05-2009 06:16 AM

Does burning oneself by accident count as putting oneself in dangerous situations? O:

Suona 12-05-2009 06:21 AM

D:
Dont burn yourself!

Arikana 12-05-2009 06:35 AM

Too late. I already did on the second Friday of July 2009. ^_^;;;

It was an accident though.. and the second degree burn left a mark that still hasn't completely healed/disappeared yet.. D:

Suona 12-05-2009 06:40 AM

Yikes. That sounds really painful.
I'm sorry. :<

Arikana 12-05-2009 06:43 AM

Yeah, it was when I first got it.. but a few hours afterward, it only hurt when pressure was applied so I could deal with it easily. :)

It was my fault anyways, I should've seen how close my arm was to the inside of the oven door.. but I didn't, so now I have a stupid burn mark on my arm still.. XP;

Suona 12-05-2009 06:52 AM

Yeah, burns are never fun. Mine always hurt for a long time, though.

I seem to burn myself pretty often, but I dont think that I've gotten scared yet. I have a burn on both my hands right now, because I keep hitting them against the fireplace when i'm putting wood in. And I once had a really funny burn on my shoulder from leaning against our little heater in the bathroom. My friends were really hoping that it would scar, because then they could play tic-tac-toe on it. lmao

Arikana 12-05-2009 07:19 AM

Yeah, same here.. I tend to burn myself a lot as well.. but usually first degree ones.. and it's usually from touching some sort of equipment or utensil in the kitchen. X3;

XD Silly friends of yours. Though, I have to admit, that would've been awesome to be a live tic-tac-toe board. X3;

sadrain 12-05-2009 05:16 PM

I don't think I have gotten a burn yet while I am 5+ of age buutu thats because I don't get involved in stuff much at kitchen. o 3o I think I might get burn easily because I lack of warning "oh, thats hot!!" until I am really too close. XD My skin is like... heat loving. I can put hand quite close to candles flame for example and hold it there for a while, until it gets too hot.

But maybe its normal. I don't know. ><;;

Arikana 12-05-2009 05:50 PM

It's the same with me.. if I stick my hand near or touching something hot as it heats up gradually.. I can handle it. :3
But something like fast and accidental I don't realize till I've felt pain and seen the burn mark for myself.. XP

I dont know what each degree of burn is defined as, so I'll just assume that mine are first degree burns. lol But the current ones on my hands are still there and they're scabs. I think they'll probably both scar. :/

Yeah, it would have been a pretty unique scar.
Hurt really bad, though.

Thats good not to be burnt. They're very painful.

Arikana 12-07-2009 02:20 AM

First degree are typical everyday not-so-serious burns. Second degree is when it damages more layers of skin and leaves a mark that can last for a while.. and it can become a blister. Third degree is when it kills your nerves.. so you don't really feel anything at all. D:

Just out of curiosity, but do you know how she got it? O:

Suona 12-07-2009 09:57 PM

Yeah, then it was a second degree one on both of them. Probably somewhere between first and second. They both blistered a little, and hurt really bad. Both scabbed and I think they'll both scar.

How who got what? O_o;;
