I'm just ticked that I didn't get much sleep . . . . I went to bed just before midnight, got to sleep around 1:00a . . . and woke up 5:20a. I tried to go back to sleep but I was unable to . . . you know that tingly feeling you get when you're about to sneeze? I had that with a painful itch on my left nasal . . . It felt inflamed but it wasn't . . . Once I got up it turned into a runny nose . . . *sigh* At least it's gone right now. |
I hate that need-to-sneeze feeling, especially when you don't actually sneeze, its only because I do this really stupid face thing that makes me look very simple. Grr

I have just introduced two of my real life friends to mene! Ever since we were all banned from Kinsaki for absolutely no reason at all we migrated and moved here! *settles in* |
Yeah. It is . . . She just had too much real life stuff on her hands . . . I hate Kinsaki . . . I was user 98 on there . . . They upped me to a mod, after that, my posting went down hill and I quit since I wanted to focus on real life and school . . . two weeks later I found that the other mods had been talking about me behind my back . . . They were calling me, and CLAMP, lazy and other things . . . |

I have never even heard of Kinasaki before, though. I registered or Ernya but I player one game for 2 hours, got to 23rd level and then accidentally closed it on my nearly dying computer, losing everything. It just ate my enthusiasm. Dx And the shops are so full with stuff its killingly slow. Thats why I like there are multiple pages in Mene shops. x3 |
Yeah. I was just too busy. Plus, when I became a mod . . . all the fun was sucked out of the place. About a month or two after I left, everything went to hell on Kinsaki . . . mod drama and the owner being banned and what not . . . *sigh* Glad I wasn't there for any of that . . . My friend joined Ernya . . . |
What was your username on Kinsaki, I was weirdly stalkerish and obsessed with trying to become staff, I spent hours in the Q&A forum, so in order to get tips I befriended all the staff and then stalked all the old staff who were no longer there. Though then after they banned me for no reason that was the end of it for me. Plus some of the users there were rather nasty to me too :(
Thats why I like it here, everyone I have spoken to so far is lovely! I have now wared all prospective people off going to Kinsaki, its dead half of the time and is pretty glitchy too. *sighs* |

There was one event in the old Travel Guide hangout . . . *sigh* I wasn't there for most of it, but saw glimpses of it . . . |

Really? I hadn't heard of you on there. I mean I had been told of Lotha Trix, Unsolved Mystery and Tharikifa. Plus there was a few mods/admins that left and were promoted while I was there too. My application was never taken into consideration, shame really.
My favourite admin was by far Mithical. I love him, he was so lovely to me even when everyone else wasn't. Yeah, I shall drag all my Kinsaki friends to Mene, which from what I have seen in my two short days here is that this is the best avatar site I have been on. <3 |
I heard about that too, but I have no idea what went on . . . you have any idea? Sorta . . . Clair asked that the thread be locked. Then there was the renovation and the thread deleted and she debated for a long while on whether to begin a new one, or not . . . @Squi - It was right when Kinki opened . . . I was the . . . second or fourth mod . . . Had the highest post count at the time, aroung 3k . . . I never applied for the status . . . that was put into effect when I was a mod for about two weeks . . . I was actually asked to be a mod on my 16th birthday . . . |

Ah, so were you a mod before the crash then? I love hearing about the crash, its quite interesting how everyone had to re-start from nothing. The user with the highest ammount of posts is Pandalicious, he has nearly 20k. I have about 8k and I joined at the start of this year, I wasn't too active the first few months as people were not very welcoming when I posted in threads so it sort of put me off but then some of my other friends joined so I was never alone. Who was the first mod? |
Oh yah! I left about three or four months before the crash. I actually heard about it from the Mene users who were on Kinsaki . . . I think that the first mod was Sugar Cane something . . . it was along the lines of Sugar. She had to take a hiatus a week after she was upped, and I was promoted a week later. She and I had a posting "war" and were constantly vying for the number one spot. >.< It was fun. We talked alot . . . |

I never really talked to any of the older staff members, all the mods now were ones that have been promoted this year. Well there are six that were promoted in the last four months anyway. I knew all of them before they became staff. |
