pretty good ^_^ opened gifts last night cause my kid decided that was when we where going to open presents

Oh really... we have a one present on christmas eve night tradition but other than that everyone has to wait for Christmas, after breakfast. But you can open your stocking any time after 1200am on Crhistmas morning :P

Hehe... had a "party" last night on my thread. It was... interesting O_o

see our tradtion is to open gifts on christmas eve after the church christmas service and then we get santa's gifts on christmas day when we get up in the morning

This year me any my hubby just showered eachother with gifts as we got them. Hehe... it was kinda interesting. Might somehow work that into a tradition, but a little more organized. Like the 12 days of Christmas or something. We just did it this year because of the circumstnaces.

But no, not Jewish. Not even close. And the 12 days of christmas is actually about Jesus. When the catholic church didn't want the people to celebrate christmas and stuff they made this song to sing about him secretly. The partridge in the pear tree is actually supposed to represent him. Or so I have recently read.

Then again I have no idea and it was probably just some propoganda that I read. I jusy wiki'd it and it's something totally different. But it starts on the 25th, how interesting. Ends Jan 5th. I think I like it. Sounds liek fun to me, 12 days of partying. Woohoo!!!

i love the songs as long as they are not over played so i refuse to listen to the radio cause that is all they play at this time and they do get overplayed!!!

Yeah. I'm pretty sure it was propoganda. That's all that my mom e-mails me anyway. Political and religios propoganda. I guess it was a nice idea but it sounded far fetched anyway. I mean, who really knows why people write songs and such. There could be infinite reason.

A lot of the christmas songs that we though that had been around forever I have realized are actually quite new.. like... The first noel... any song that talks about the king od israel isn't that old because israel is only 60 some odd years old. Yup.

I like going in the stores though ^^ I usually end up singing with the songs in there and dancing :P

i like to sing and dance along to i try not to listen to them to much so that way i still enjoy them when i do hear them ^_^

My husband gets annoyed when he hears them and it's not December. lol...

On a side note. I love Snoop dogg.... He has a really original voice and... yeah. There's just something about him ^^ The video "I wanna rock just came on tv. Nice nice.
