@Irk-Farmtown is AMAZING, but I have kicked it and started cafe world. Though I did just plant some pineapples for Tuesday.

I'm in the Army. I couldn't join the AF with a clear conscience. I tell my mom this all the time. I prefer to be more... proactive and agressive, if that makes sense. I grew up in an AF town in NC and... I saw them as being a bit chubby and slightly lazy. It could be just that location but 4 month deployments sound too easy! I just have to take the hardest road possible! Always! Give me the 12-15 month deployments away from my family. Give me the most ridiculous PT tests. Give me nearly impossible promotions. I don't know why I do it to myself, but I just wouldn't be able to accept anything that didn't challenge me. O_O *isn't bashing the AF ^^;*

Oh no, I completely understand what you mean. We don't jokingly call it the chairforce for nothing. We wanted to go to NC, we are at F.E. Warren right now. America's armpit ha ha. My father was Marine/Army (retired) I said something about joinging the marines and though he would be proud he'd rather me not lol. The deployment is the worst. I will be glad when it is all over...but I know it takes time.

Yeah. Is your husband deployed right now? I always thought that if I were going to be called a "vet" I would have to earn it. I'm a medic. I will have to get out there and be shot at and really save people and make a difference. And I dont want to have anything handed to me... I push things away that are too easy. my mom asked me the other day if someone offered me 10 million dollars to just sit around the rest of my life would I take it. I told her no. I just can't. Its not my personallity. I have to do things on my own, by myself. Asking for help is the hardest thing for me. I don't think I'd ask for help if I lost both my arms and my legs... I'd be like... "Its just a flesh wound! I've had worse!" lol... Holy grail reference if you didn't catch that.
I'm not sure exactly where that is O_o but america's armpit sounds awful. lol. I wouldn't let my daughter join the Army. She is 4 and wants to join the Navy, that's ok. Or the AF.. but no marines or army for her. lol. I want things to be better for her. Like hopefully because things are tough for me, it'll be better for her. I can only hope. ^^;
