What an interesting idea for a photo competition.

Ive got a small list here somewhere, or at least HAD one, of some good ideas for contests. That was one of them. But i believe Creepy suggested it and i realised how long it had been since id run a competition, so decided it was high time!

As for the edit, am i right in guessing that youve removed all the cyan/blue tone from the image and mirrored it pretty much with some back ground blurring and a small crop?

It looks good for such a simple technique!

I could offer a little criticism if youd like, but to be constructive id sort of need to know what your final aim was to have it look like maybe?

It is suppose to look like me sharing a bright blue orb in my mouth with my imaginary twin. :rofl:

hrm, my suggestion (and im presuming youre using photoshop here?) would be to remove the darker section from the middle of the ball and lighten it up so it looks like one piece, oh and the tentacle bit hanging in the middle below it that borders on the mirrored image.
You may need to add a little noise on top of the photoshop to blend it in a bit im presuming too.
