I think fish is ok, and poultry, but red meat is the one thats 'eternally damning' apparently?
I dont know how religious the rest of you are, but i reckon thats a load of bollocks myself.

I was brought up Catholic/Christain what ever it was. Dragged every sunday for YEARS to the church... that sucked. As i grew up though, i looked at what they were telling me and decided that it was bull dust IMO. I respect that other people believe it, and i dont deny that some teachings have good moral values that we should try to adhere to, but for the most part, i rejected what was forced upon me and as a whole, i reject the institution that is mass religion.
IF there is some almighty deity influencing everything, then good for it. I have my own moral code that i live by, things that i will or will not do because they do not feel right to me.
[/religiousrant]
Oh, was it this thread some one suggested getting my dame some roses for easter? Im open for suggestions! Theres some hitches to 'regular' ideas though. One is she is diabetic, so candy etc is a no go really, and two is that she is Pagan, so easter doesnt mean anything to her (or myself) other than a celebration that everyone else partakes in, and by default, we get roped into.

lol, like, I said, get her a bunch of different colored roses. Every single one a different color XD like, a red one, a yellow one, a white one, a pink one, a blue one, a purple one, etc. and MAKE SURE THE RED ONE IS IN THE MIDDLE or you can get 3 red ones to represent the 3 weeks you guys have been together (you mentioned you guys where together for 2 weeks already right? so that will make next week week numero threeo (umm...dunno 3 in spanish or mexican, or whatever language it is in :P)) oh, and also, just on a "just so you know" basis, the purple, blue, etc roses are going to be hard to get, especially if you only want 1 of each and try to get the darker colors in "light/bright" instead of dark. Like, a pale sky-blue rose and a light lavender (yes, that is a COLOR) rose or something like that.
lol, although I'm atheist, I grew up here in Canada and there's a lot of Christianity everywhere, but to support your theory of bible = BS, it is a known fact that the bible is made up by this huge group of cardinals and major blah blah blahs or something wayyyy back, and this huge meeting was held to actually make it and I think someone actually found records of the "proceedings" (it's like an old version of a secretary's notes), lmao XD

lol, I hereby decree that this is called your "creed" XD or as close as a creed that people get these days :P
oh, and I don't completely oppose christianity or believing in things/gods either. 1) it actually does help in a ton of ways, which I will list if you ask (totally long list XD) 2) it feels really good to know that you can always trust and rely and believe someone else.
That came out as a lot XD

@the whole grandmother thing: yeah she buys me stuff that I know she really doesn't mean for me to wear. Here's me trying to look church-going in the skirt I had last year. Last year's easter outfit.
How much are roses? x.x
Is easter really a rose-giving holiday? It's spring, so flowers are a total must, but not sure about them being roses. eh.

WOAH! that's a short skirt! o.o at least you're wearing something under it! XD there was someone in my fashion design class that made their dress too short, and then she wore it WITHOUT anything underneath! it was shorter than that skirt you wore by almost an inch! and I swear, you can almost see her butt when she walked. *rolls eyes* at least the whole entire class was girls, there was a guy that applied to the class, but then dropped it the first day XD

Creed, morals, ethics, what ever you want to call it, im living by it. A lot of it, surprisingly, was given substance from reading the first half of the Satanic Bible by Anton Sandez LaVey (sp?). The second half dealt with all the magical aspects of it and such and im not big on that sort of thing, but the first part was unbelievably well formed on dealing with people and human nature and such. It actually formulated into words, things that id felt (as morals) but never tried to convey in any sense.
To my knowledge, a lot of the things in that book are made in direct response/retalliation to the Christian/Catholic teachings etc. but they do make a lot of sense, far more than i felt the aforementioned religious teachings in some aspects.
On another note, yes, Nikki, that skirt is quite short. I think youd only wear just that out if you were looking to 'advertise' so to speak! ;) Thats just my opinion, if you like wearing that sort of thing its your choice too and i wont say you shouldnt... Gods know men like to perve! ;)

Lol, it IS Easter... it's just that we can't find a connection between bunnies/chocolate eggs and Christ's resurrection  And by the by, I happen to be an atheist too, sacrilegious enough to ask for a Big Mac during Holy Week and take photos inside the church while everyone else is praying/being hypnotized by the churchman (because I always forget the religiously correct term for that man's job)'s words.
I had Fanesca for lunch and crab salad for dinner, so it's not like it's too bad! =D

About meat: I believe Leviticus prohibited pretty much any animal except chicken and as a rule to be followed your whole life :insane: But that was a long time ago so I don't remember much.
