...Haha. Nami wears gladiator sandals. XD *just realized that and feels like a dork* But I am buying the you know, little sandal kind that go around your ankle. Nami has the kind that actually would help brace your leg and that do not come off if one gets in a fight. o_o

I want the tall ones too, but I couldn't find any decent ones for less than like, a hundred dollars. XD Besides, I imagine they'd take a while to put on. o_o

I'm almost wonderfing if gladiator shoes are too OOC for her. XD She's intelligent, so perhaps she's able to gauge the benefits they have against how long they take to put on, but still. :P Her impatience has been known to, on many occasions, outweigh her intellect to a very hefty degree.

OMG I FORGOT TO TELL YOU. Last night, it was a friend of the family's 21st birthday, so we took him out to dinner at this arcade place. And Ju came and WE GOT BUNNY EARS WITH OUR TICKETS. 8D *is excited over really dumb stuff*

I kicked behind at getting jackpots in games, so I got lots of tickets. I got a big pink poodle and a little blue dog and bunny ears and a kazoo. But mostly I care about the bunny ears. :rofl:

I've been reading the webcomic AppleGeek... it's quite amusing. :'D What's Odd Thomas about? o: Sounds like it could be a good book from the title.

SPEAKING OF READING AND WEBCOMICS AND WHAT NOT. Have you read the new DMFA? XD

Odd Thomas is about a guy who sees dead people, and helps them when they have a need to be helped. Some of them are just on earth because they have unfinished bussiness or because they are too afraid to move on, like this dead guy who hangs out at Tire World, and Elvis. Others need his help to bring their killer to justice. And sometimes he just offers companionship to the lonely ghosts- like Elvis.

Anyway, there's these creatures called bodachs, and they're attracted to excessive amounts of pain and death- or the people who will cause it. Odd, who is the main character, can see them as well as dead people. And then he sees swarms of them following this one guy, who he finds is a wannabe serial killer. So he's trying to stop this guy before he can do whatever it is he's gonna do, and it's REALLY awesome. D:

Me toooo, I will be so thrilled if you read it. D: It's not only one of the funniest books I've ever read, it's super suspensful and makes my heart pound. Seriously- all of my favorite books are pretty hardcore fantasy. Some don't seem as fantastical as the others, like the Georgina Kincaid novels, but while they're urban, they're still about sucubi and imps and vampires and angels and demons and such things. Odd Thomas... is definitely highly supernatural, but it's very very low key fantasy, I'd almost say not at all. Which makes Odd Thomas my ONLY favorite book that isn't blatantly fantasy.

D: Sounds like an excellent book in deed! Because I'll admit that most of my favorite books end up being obviously fantasy. Except Eyes of the Crow. D;
