Yeah, I was surprised to see they had gone up so much. The Chicky on my head has skyrocketed too, and I don't have one of those yet, though I do have the bunny plush already, thank goodness.

Yea.. I'm happy that I was active for that easter. I have a couple chickies.. I never thought they would be worth so much O_o
But I don't have anything from last easter, and I only have a silver claddagh belt from last St. Patrick's day. So I suck. That belt doesn't even match anything else I own XD |
I wasn't a member of the site yet for that Easter...I didn't know about Mene and didn't join until May of that year. I do have the bunny hair pin and the bunny plushie though from that set, and I have the gold Claddagh belt as I won it in the V'Day auction, and I purchased the Luck of the Irish, but that's all I have of that set. I missed out on a lot of events due to inactivity brought about by not having a computer I could use regularly.

I was inactive for about 11 months because I had real life to deal with. But I missed Mene too much. So that's why I have so many damn Ci's and Ei's that I need to buy, before they get too expensive too consider.

I actually got quite lucky when I came back from my hiatus, because the Oriental Fan had gone up so much in value, I was able to trade it for almost everything I had missed out on. Only thing is, I no longer have the fan, so I will be questing that again someday, when it's value will probably be triple or even quadruple what I received for it, lol.

Haha, yea, the Oriental fan is really expensive. When I came back, I was like "Oh, crap." I wanted it before my hiatus but got too lazy. At least I got my Pudao. The Oriental fan and the mask of Atlantis are the only expensive CIs I don't have yet.. I need to get working on that..

I had the mask set too, but I ended up trading that off as well, for some of the other things I missed out on. I do plan to quest them again at some point, but maybe not as much as the fan

I'm considering selling/trading an entire Easter 2007 set, but at the same time I'm afraid of it inflating a lot and then me regretting it.

Hehe, I know what you mean. I did that on this one site I played on for a long time, but it ended up a lot of the items I owned on that site deflated in value, severely. I decided at that point that I would not worry about items inflating in value anymore, and I would not allow myself to regret selling things off either. I did end up deciding to quit the site that happened on though, but for a number of other reasons, not because of that.

Mhmm. For the past couple of days I sold about 800 items from my gaia account because I haven't been active on it for a year, and I'm not planning on becoming fully active again, and I got like.. 400 k, and I finally bought a nitemare headband, which I've been wanting for the past five years xD
When I do officially quit from Gaia, though, I'm going to sell everything, because I don't want to let my rare-ish items die with my account. |

Doodle, I've decided to quit Gaia too, but I plan to eventually make a list of all my items there and set up a thread to trade my items for art. I figured I don't want my account to die with all my expensive items either, but I don't want to come away completely empty handed. I have plenty of avvie's I would like art done of, so figured that would be a good time to get some of it made. I just need to take the time out to inventory everything. I just hope I can get a few really decent artists to take interest in doing art for me there. |
Yea, art would probably be good. I'm just going to get sell my crappier items for better and better items and then see who I can get..
Cause I have a nitemare bustier, nitemare headband, chyaku norisu scarf, etc. So I think I could probably get some pretty good art with those. |

I wouldn't doubt it to be honest. Pattys 08 have always been hard to obtain. When I bought my set I paid I think paid three times what it was worth at the time. Afterwards I wanted a spare and could never find the hats. Only had extra Clauddaughs and LoI =/

From Patty's 2008 I only have a silver Claddagh belt.. So I'm kind of desperate for any of the items, though the gold claddagh belt is definitely last on the list. Right now I just want either of the hats and the Luck 'o the Irish.

I traded my extra clauddagh's when I bought my stockings and pot of gold. Sold the last of my Irish earlier this week.

Well, that's good that you got stockings and a pot of gold, those are hard to get.
The pot of gold is probably going to be my next giant quest.. Then my set will pretty much be complete. I don't think I'll ever go after the green clover hairpin, simply because they're so expensive and I already have a golden one. Maybe one day. |
