I might pay that much for an item after release if it was nice but not for an un-seen per-order.

I don't watch hockey, but I understand what you mean about the suspense, Thulhu!
I follow Nascar racing. My guy is Jeff Gordon, and whenever he's in the lead, and the race is close, I just can't watch anymore...I can't stand the suspense.

I'm like that for movies too. I'm always grabbing on to people's arms and demanding that they tell me it's going to be okay in the end :XD
Our team lost though I think it was 5 to 7 in the end :(
And then Jer shaved off his "Playoffs Beard" and I now i have to get used to his new look all over again like I did when he grew it :P

lol... it's funny about sports.
I like Nascar and football (US football).
I will watch basketball during March madness (but I hate the little squeaking noise that their sneakers make on the gym floor)
I don't care for baseball, but I don't mind watching it with somebody who is a fan (because they know all the players, and I like watching them get excited. My mother inlaw is that way for the Astros, and one of my sisters it that way for the Twins).
I've just never gotten into hockey or wrestling. The only hockey game I actually watched was the olympic "Miracle on Ice". It was so funny because the announcer had said "I bet there are people watching who don't even know the difference between the blue and the red line!". I was thinking... ok... so tell me what they are!

Ha.... what can I say... I was a math nerd.
It was a pretty cool class. He was a pretty cool professor. I actually went out with him (not while I was taking the class, though).

Hmmm... I wouldn't have realized it said that until you pointed it out.l
I read it as pre-order. I suspect everybody else did too.

Okay well that's good then *whew*
Now I should really stop posting. I think so much time in front of the screen has given me a headache and jer will come home soon and I've done nothing productive in the real world today :gonk:
I should at least wash some dishes before he gets home

Ah... who does the cooking?
My hubby and I have a deal. He who cooks gets to sit it out, and the other does the cleanup.
Works great.

Normally I cook and he does the dishes and we share the laundry but lately he's begrudgingly done all the laundry even after I've offered to do it. And he's made some meals while I've been sick, so even though I'll be making dinner tonight there's more than a load of dishes already sitting there waiting and I don't know if i can ask him to do them cause I know he'll say yes even if he doesn't want to and then later he'll be grumpy because of it but not say why

Well his parents used to fight alot when he was young so he can't barely stand any conflict. When the possibility of conflict arises he just caves and if it upsets him he keeps it inside and refuses to tell me that anything is wrong even though I can tell it is, to the point where it's sometimes a struggle to get any information from him.
I can't tell you how many conversations have gone:
"Honey are you alright?"
"Yes I'm fine"
"Well you don't seem fine, are you upset?"
"No"
"Are you sure because you seem upset?"
"yes I'm sure. I'm not upset I'm fine"
"Well do you feel sick? or unwell?"
"No really I'm fine I'm not sick"
"Well are you just kind of tired then? or grumpy?"
"I'm not grumpy about anything, I'm just pretty tired still"
"Well then tell me so in the first place! Next time I ask "are you alright?" and you already know that you're tired and that's why then just tell me "I'm fine, just tired" It's only four words and they could have prevented this whole conversation which I know that you've found annoying!"
"yeah, yeah"
