I really only hung out in the exchange for my last year or so at Gaia. Then I was hacked of all the things that made me feel like I fit in with the crowd there. After that happened, there was nothing to keep me there anymore.

I was more of a Charity forums person, since I have no idea what's in those mind of the people who're in the Exchange half the time...:sweat: After I got banned I started losing touch and my liking for the site and in the end my fight with a friend was the last straw and I left. I'm glad I managed to find Menewsha on Google, my first search results had been Kinsaki and Avaricia, but they didn't really strike me as all that appealing, so I kept on searching until Mene came up.

I think I belong to both of those too, but don't care for them.
I love what a great community we have here. Some people say that we are a copycat of Gaia, but I don't see that at all. I don't think the people that join here thinking they can come here and spam will stay around long. The staff here does a great job of policing that sort of thing.

Mene's way better than Gaia could ever be. Those people obviously have no idea what they're talking about. >_>
It's great how there's nearly always a staff online, it keeps the spammers in check. I saw a spam thread the other day and it was gone within minutes after I saw it, it was really fast.

I noticed that too. We're lucky to have such a dedicated staff. I think it helps that there is quite a high number of staff to active users too. Jelly is very good at quickly replying to questions, if you pm her. You'd think assistant admins would not be so quick to help, but they are here.

I kind of wonder how many staffs there are on Mene. I like how they're all so quick on helping the other members out and all.

I know how you feel. I don't normally serious look for a seller until I have at least nearly enough gold for want I am looking for. However, Branny mentioned that he had multiples of the panda slippers and would be willing to sell me a pair, even though they are not listed in his items currently for sale.

I was kind of shocked when I logged on the other day and found all the offers in my thread, but they were all rather nice ones so I accepted them all...thus my current dilemma of trying to save up nearly 8000g as fast as possible. :sweat:

People are pretty good at contacting you if you have something that they are selling. You already have nearly 1000 gold, so I'd say that you are off to a good start.
