Well, I have to pay for the ticket there and back, which is ridiculously expensive, and I have to take leave to go home. I only get thirty days every year, and while I have enough to take a trip home; I'm saving it for when my parents visit in September. Not to mention that since I never lived with my grandma, I don't qualify for emergency leave, so I have to get normal leave approved and we're very undermanned and have a lot of work...So I don't think it'll work. :(

Almost two years now. It's been quite the experience.

I'm sure it's had it's good and bad times for you. Have you thought about talking to a Chaplain about help in trying to get permission to go home for the funeral.

Well, I just talked to my mom and she said not to bother. The funeral is this Saturday, and she said it's going to be a very short one. I dunno. I would like to go, but I'm not sure if I should.

But I'm going to take a nap now; it's been a stressful day.
