It's a romance film, soldier goes on two weeks leave meets girl, falls in love, goes off has 12 months left in the army, twin towers go down, he extends his enlistment, she finds someone else and dumps him via letter, his dad dies, they go their separate ways and skrike like big babies because they still love each other but she's married to a guy because he has an autistic child and cancer. Only good bit was when a little old lady called her a slut when they had sex. :XD

i know, she must have deleted the file. ill have to see. most people did what i thought they would do as opposed to being super creative. maybe the prize was too low? or maybe it didnt get enough advertising. or maybe i shouldnt have put in the story. i dont know. i think im going to choose the most creative for the second prize and my favourite for the first prize. i think that works out fairly.

That's ok, I know I'm not very good. :) My art teacher at school used to tell me I could draw but not very well.

thats exciting. i have a friend who is due in about a month to give birth. they got married last year.
almost all my friends are getting married if they are in a relationship. and james and i have been together longer then any of them. its very confusing because not a one of them ever said they wanted to get married. most of them were anti marrige just like us, but then got married anyways. |
My brother's not, they don't really need/want to. They've been living together so long know they have the same rights as married couples and if they break up there's no paperwork.

yeah, i agree with that. i mean, i want to take james' name, but i dont want to spend that much money you know? a wedding is just an extremely expensive party and means very very little and causes tremendous amounts of drama and trouble.
im glad james agrees with me on that one, although i am not sure he wants me to take his name. are you taking johnny's name? |
You don't have to do the whole wedding thing. You can just go in the town hall and all it costs is the marriage license and if they charge anything. Then you're married without making it a big deal.

i guess. no one does that here. its always a big deal. and majority of the time ends in divorce.

I wouldn't really mind doing that myself but everyone is expecting the whole thing so.
My Dad's told me to do that a few times but when I told my mum she wasn't happy he was encouraging us to do it that way. |
thats what i mean. everyone want you to have a big thing, and so you have to. its not about what you want, or what would be best for you. its what they want. and their selfish lives and they dont even care or even support your relationship. thats what every wedding is like and its bullshit!
at least your dad is reasonable and logical. neither of my parents would be understanding. my dad would call me cheap for not having a gigantic wedding. freakin jerk. speaking of jerks, someone gave me a 5/10 on my avatar! isnt that rediculas!? i know its not perfect but i think its at least a 7/10. i based it off the teal and gold avatar that won both admin and user picks. you know the one i mean? |
