Well, actually, when I joined last year and then poked around the exchange (because I lurked there on Gaia, so it seemed like the most likely place for me to find friends here), I remember seeing your thread, I think, and it was just so...big. O_O
And I remember being like....running away. XD No one can be as bad of a hermit as the veteran exchange members and "uber oldbies" on Gaia. :stare: And, apparently you are one, so please don't take offense. XD;;; I'm just talking from experience; I'm sure some of them are really cool. I've just never met any of them. Its like, if you joined later than '04, most seem to treat you like a mosquito that needs to be killed quickly so it doesn't bite and infect you. >_>;;; Well, someone needs to tell her to un-stick her lips, dammit! :illgetu: |

No offense taken. XD; I totally get what you mean. But if you see it from our viewpoint, the exchange used to be tiny and now there's suddenly so many people and it feels so foreign. I wouldn't know where to start if I decided to not be a hermit. XD Plus there are a lot of moochers and scammers out there. I know most people don't belong to those categories but oldbie friends are safe. XD It's funny. I started a thread with some of my oldbie friends and if anyone 'new' comes in and posts, they pretty much get ignored. I'm probably the only one that says hi. D: I feel bad for that. XD; |
