IT is a bit different from IS, IT is more technical-related. So that's the networking and stuff. On the other hand, IS is more consultation work and selecting the right programs to make things work. No worries though, CS and IT are both confused with IS a lot! IS just has a lot more business-related ideas in it, we just tell the CS and IT people what we need done. (though technical knowledge in both is a necessity to know wtf you're talking about)
So: basically a manager of that department and seeing how technology can be used in other sections of a firm. Consultations are probably the most important though, like figuring out the needs of a particular place you are assigned to work at, rather than sticking with just one company. I'd like to go work at KPMG Consulting, they get the best Silicon Valley jobs. Winters are very good for staying on the computer. ^^ I wish however that I had the time right now to go out and just hang out in the sun. I feel like I'm wasting all of my life inside here working on my dumb paper. At least they gave us two more days. I'm stoked about that. Yeah it probably isn't that complicated, especially if you know each other personally. I just remember when I had to do those kinds of things with strangers, and there was a high risk that the person wouldn't pull through or the deal would fall through on either end. Hm...I wish I did. When I sold my Clover Pin, I elected not to go for any of the recent items. I'm sure you could snag some with a Pirate Booty though from someone, or you can probably buy one with pure. ^^

Actually there's a lot of people hoping to sell the recent CI's. I don't think this month's CI's did too well, nor did the previous month's CI's (they are kind of cheap). So I'm sure someone around has them.

The dumb thing about me is that I had 5K and a useless 10K dress when I left Mene in March of 07. Mene kept kicking me offline...so I gave up on it. X.x Come to find I leave for 2 years and come back and realize that I should have purchased some old CI/EI's to leave on my account to sell later. All that time gone to waste! XD As for buying, absolutely no problem. ^^ I aim to cycle pure gold and popular CI/EI's, so if you are in need of either at some point let me know. I don't have the new stuff in stock yet, but since you are interested in it (and others are too) I'll keep an eye out and snag it for you if I see it for a good price. Sounds good, slippers seem to be like a good item to hoard, but they're getting rarer and more pricey as the months go buy. I can do the same if you want, any item you're splurging for I can attempt to grab it for you when you're not active. ^^

XD I think the only ones I'm really looking to buy are the small commons on the front of the store. (True Love/Pure Hatred Wings) Other than that, I don't have anything special. I appreciate the offer though. ^^
Originally I was going to try to collect all the items that I missed out on since I left, at least the special items anyway. Then I got to thinking I wanted as much of the common items as possible so that I could put together avatars. But ultimately I think what I'll wind up being is like I am on Gaia, where I finally have enough where I can say "I have enough money to buy anything I really feel like. It's just a choice whether I want to or not." I think that's where I'd ultimately like to be on Mene. ^^ |
