And as for the item pricing - yeah the Price Guide is a pretty good like: Estimate on what you can probably attain, and the higher the price on the guide, the more time it'll take for people to sell. XD Sometimes it isn't wholly accurate, but it's good enough I think. Bartuc is kind of busy so he can't really update it so much right now, and I haven't been so good on reporting sales. :/ But that's mostly because I'm an exchanger - a middle-man - and since I do double the trades for each item I sell, my sales would end up dominating the entire guide. *doesn't want that*

I'm in the pastry department in a small grocery. It's great, my second shift is tonight.
But I only get one break so far as I know.

Ah. D: That fails. I guess you'd have to time it so that it's somewhere in the middle because if you do it too early, you have a long rest of the shift and if you do it too late, you wear yourself out by the time you do get the break.

Sounds like a great job though otherwise. :) Do you stock material or do you make pastry?

It really depends on what time of day I'm working.
In the morning it's a rush to get everything into the ovens and the displays refilled. We have a little cafe section so we made fresh tarts and stuff. Afternoons is packaging a lot stuff like pies and ready back cookie dough. Then we manage cake orders and the café. Closing is today so I'll see how that goes. This will be what my normal shifts will be like with school.

yush but i'm 4th generation born and raised in hawaii. my mom took japanese school when she was a little girl but forgot most of it... and my grandparents don't speak japanese to me. my great grandparents came to Hawaii back then :O
