@Windy - Exactly! XD Though penguins and polar bears don't exist on the same area of the Earth. (North and South poles) But nevermind that, we KNOW a polar bear will eat a penguin. :3
@Kuri - XD Yes. New people probably like them due to the fact that it's more of a "signature" look and is easier to make an avatar look less naked. ^^

Yeah, that's the problem on campus - there's maybe one shop in town that sells Boba pearl tea and that's it! In Taiwan there's like tons of shops around selling it. It's pretty much like their version of soft drinks. That's cool that you make it yourself though!

Well, it's actually in the Trashcan now, but I can still read through it. XD *modly powers, activate!*
Fresh Meat really isn't that bad right now I don't think. Most of the new kids are following the rules and are being friendly. Of course we have the users who don't know what to do with themselves around here, but that should pass. :D
mmmm. Boba tea! I haven't had one in ages, but I have the stuff to make the strawberry kind. It's just a lot of work.
*waves to Chi* Hi lady! I was going to tell you that I went to the doctor about my bladder issue, and he gave me some pills and told me I had to come back and have this test done to get a real diagnosis. So I have a physical on Sept. 2 and then I have to schedule a time for this test, which I'm nervous about b/c they have to put me to sleep to do it. I guess it's super uncomfortable b/c they fill your bladder to max capacity then stick a scope up there to look at the bladder wall. Good times, good times. :sarcasm: Oh well, at least I'm getting it taken care of. :D

Well, the doctor says that I have the classic symptoms of interstitial cystitis, so he thinks that's what it is. This test should confirm it. It was my self-diagnosis as well, so I kinda feel good about that, despite the fact that it's a chronic condition. :(
A lot of people who've had this test done say they're in pain for weeks afterward. I just hope mine isn't that bad, because I can't afford to be out of work that long. T_T
I do think the pills are helping though, which is awesome. Things always seem to flare up during my ladytime, and now that that's over for the month I feel a lot better. It's kind of amazing, because usually I have at least a week of pain after my last day. But not this time. I went right back to feeling good. He gave me a tricyclic antidepressant in a low dosage to 'deaden' the nerves in my bladder, and an antihistamine which also does something. Anyways, though I have mad dry mouth for a good part of the day, my bladder doesn't hurt, so HUZZAH for that!
