we do only get one of these, and having lists of things are nice from time to time, so... I THINK the rules are kinda suspended about DPing.

Yes, double posting is fine when setting up threads. Double posting is also fine in threads in the exchange, when the threads fall off the first page. The only exception to the ladder rule is that the post still has to be on topic, such as "Still selling/buying _______." So "Bump" or something like that, then makes it against the rules.
