Make her like him instead of just playing around and wanting an open relationship where they can see other people but always know they can come back to each other for sex or whatever? XD;

Haha After awhile you come to know who can get the subtle hints and who needs the flat out telling :P
That, and if I get frustrated enough, I bluntly say things XD;
[/speaks before thinks 90% of the time]
But yeah -- it really is case by case a lot of the time, depending on the person :3

Oh they weren't even dating hun, that's the thing. He wanted to date her, she didn't want a boyfriend but someone she can just basically keep as a little puppy who'll dote all over her, make her feel amazing/boost her ego, and who she can turn to to kiss etc. whenever she wanted lol
Open relationship basically, not a real relationship :3
And yeah, she finally told him awhile after I had told him myself. I think I had to talk to her about it again, but I don't remember lol

Because they give the courses to juniors and sophomores first who need it for diversity requirements, so freshman (like me) can't get into it when we need the course for our major :/
It's sooo stupid how my college is run.

Haha thankies <3
-snugs-
I just need to move, seriously. I went out with my friends last night to have a good time, a bunch of asinine jerks from high school were there too. I didn't say a word to them, didn't look at them, had NOTHING to do with them. They started chucking ice at my group. Apparently they were aiming for me, but they didn't even come -close- to hitting me and I didn't notice it at all until it hit one of my friends and nearly hit another one of mine. And our entire group was getting weird texts asking for my number and asking if certain people were there.. -sigh-
It was just freaky and weird.
It didn't help that some of the people in the group were seriously psychotic and had threatened me in high school due to another girl (who was in the group) spreading rumors that I was dating this guy (who I was just close friends with). The psychotic girl got jealous because she was "dating" him, but really she wasn't and just wouldn't let go of him and accept their breakup XD
Sooo I had to deal with her threatening me from another town all Senior year~
It was great :P
So I'm sure she's the one who started the whole thing lol
I just ignored it and didn't even let it phase me. It wouldn't have really pissed me off except for them hitting my friends. It's like seriously, grow up ya know?
You're out of high school, you don't need to act so immaturely all your life.
Things like this just always happen -- I go somewhere to have a good time, I walk into a store and get dirty looks if I see people I don't get along with, I go to a restaurant and people who I don't get along with are working there and say rude remarks if they have the opening, etc.
It just gets so.. old and frustrating have to deal with immature losers from high school all the time because our area is so rural and small.
I think after college I'm either moving to another part of NY (since I'll only have my teaching certificate for NY), or possibly going out of state and getting another state's teaching certificate :/
I honestly just can't deal with the crap that goes on here. It's just ridiculous and never ending :/

@ Emmie : I see. =O So what came of that then? :x Seems even guys think that they can "change girls", when normally it's the girls who think that they can change bad boys and stuff with their love and whatnot. ^^;;

Yeah~ Although from your stories it seems that more people need straight telling-out to? :x But yeah, sometimes they need it, but maybe it's not what they need at the moment? I don't know. @[email protected];;

I see though. That explains things. ^^;; Was getting a little lost and confused there for a moment. xDD;;

Really? Shouldn't the freshmen in the real course need those subjects first? o_o;; I always thought that freshmen were given the priorities first, haha. xDD;; You know, being freshmen and still "lost", haha.

Wow, that all sounds intense and really... petty of them. :x I'm really sorry you have to deal with that much crap. D: I never knew. Now I feel bad for saying that I can relate somewhat, because now I know I'm seriously overvaluing some of my troubles in life. >.<;;

@ happydeath : The trade should be done now~ :'D <3<3 Thank you for buying again! ^^

Like I already said, she finally told him she didn't want anything more than an open relationship with him and so he stopped trying to date her. Then 3 weeks later she started dating some other guy. XD;;

Yeah, they do need flat out telling~
They weren't exactly the brightest bulbs in realizations and subtle hints ^_^;;
But eh - I don't speak to 95% of them anymore anyways, so it really doesn't matter all that much what is and is not good for them :P
And honestly, when I finally say something?
Something needs to be done at that moment because if something isn't done then it'll just go on for who knows how long and not end, and people will just continue to talk about it behind their backs about it and never to their face :/

Yeah I know but nope :/
So basically I have a year of diversity credits under my belt and -that's it- :/
I have nothing to do with my major except one course, but it's just a major requirement, not anything to do with my actual major :/

Yeahh, it's been going on for awhile :/
What started it was my love for reading, fantasy, the abnormal, the abstract, and for art. My having no interest in sports other than figure skating just helped add to it~
Then later on the fact that I wouldn't do drugs or drink added to it ^_^;;
I was the oddball in my school (which is VERY sports oriented and alcohol/drug oriented) so because I wasn't in any particular group and had "oddball" friends, I was the easier target for people to be assholes to :P
Especially because for a few years, I wouldn't do anything back. Even after people threatened my life :/
My parents did though, that's for sure ^_^;;
After that it kind of mellowed down a little, but not really lol

I mean, it's not like I did anything to deserve the treatment I got, it was only because I wasn't in the drug/drinking/sports circle :/
That, and I was always sick growing up ^_^;;
[/has never really been healthy, as you probably already know]
So that didn't help either hahaha

It's just... that school is so ridiculous, and the teachers don't do anything about any of it really :/
I mean, a few of them try, but not many do 'cause 90% of them are related to each other and related to 75-80% of the school :/
So basically if you're not in one of those top 3 families, you're shit out of luck if you're an oddball :/
Especially an oddball who flourishes in what she does ^_^;;
Like speaking languages, creating art, etc.
It sucks, but what are you going to do?

It's just beyond immature that they would still be asinine like that outside of high school -- it just goes to show how truly low they are and how much they need a reality check. Because in all honesty, they're the screw-ups here and are the ones who aren't going to make it in life lol
I mean, the crap they do really doesn't bother me, 'cause I know I'm better than them and I know that there's nothing wrong with me. It's just petty immaturity because I'm not a cookie-cutter druggie/alcoholic/sports-obsessive person that lives around here lol
I just wish one day they'd grow up.
Because honestly? I see them doing this kind of crap when they're 45, and that saddens me because if so many people are like that in a rinky-dink town like I grew up in, then what's the rest of the world like, ya know?
I find the generations are just getting worse and worse, and I can really see it in my brother's grade :/

Buuuut enough ranting about childish immaturity :P
It doesn't affect me any LOL
But yeah -- there are some pretty petty and immature people in this world who will do anything to relieve their boredom, even chuck ice at a group of people who they don't even know just because one person is in it and they want to make hell for that person. Some how it gives them pleasure, and they truly need some help if it does :3

And Emmie is now on a mini-hiatus, so she'll talk to you when she gets back <3

Ohh, now I see the connection with your other stories before. Again, sorry about getting lost there, haha. ^^;;

Woah. :x Honestly, from the way you describe your town, I wouldn't want to live there. D: No offense meant to you, of course, but yeah, it doesn't seem like such a healthy environment if there are backstabbers and all at every corner. >.<;;

So the arts aren't a big thing in your area? =O At least, that's what I'm getting at. :x

I hope you don't give up on future generations though! D: I know it can get bad; I've seen it for myself. But, I'd like to stay positive, you know? Besides, if a third world country like mine can stay positive, I say you US people can really pull it together. XP

I was one of the quiet girls when I was in grade school or high school. I wasn't exactly an oddball, since I had my own "respectable" group of friends (respectable to the eyes of the popular kids at school, is what I mean =\), so I was never really picked on. A friend or two of mine was though, and that irked me a lot. I have a feeling people talked a lot behind my back though, but I was never outspoken enough to know, nor did I really care that much to find out. Especially since there were other easier targets than me; you can call me one of those low-key types of people then, haha.

I'm glad it got a lot better when I got to college though. @[email protected];; I'm not exactly part of the super popular crowd, but let's just say I have friends and acquaintances in a lot of good places, so those connections do help a lot. I wish I could say the same for you, it seems. :'< </3
...
Just shared a bit of my own story, because I think I should give a little something back to you in return for sharing so much to little ole me. :x <3<3

But damn, now you're gone? D: Okay, hope you still get to read this when you do get back though. ^^;;

Yeahh - no one knows how to be a real friend~
Your best friend could be the one spreading the worst rumors about you and talking the worst about you behind your back, but is the greatest to your face~
You really lose your trust of people here :/

No lol
It's sports or nothing~
If you do anything else, you're looked at like a leper lol

Yeah, I have no faith what so ever. I've seen 4-5 year olds slapping girls asses as they walk by :/
It's just getting worse and worse here :/

Haha I wasn't~
I spoke my mind and told them all to go to hell, which kind of just made it worse since I wasn't just shutting up anymore :P
They didn't like that too much ^_^;;

Yeahh -- you had it easy hun :/
Not all high schools are tolerant of difference, especially those who are always going to doctors due to sickness and are always having to have heart monitors and such to make sure everything is working right :/
Going to school with such devices and being out of school a lot isn't helpful :/
Until you've had someone threaten to kill you just because you're different, you haven't got any idea how bad it can get :/

I haven't really met a lot of people in college~
I have no trust or faith in them after high school, 'cause it's in the same county I grew up in~
I'm trying to have a different out look, but meh -- they're all partiers and such anyways, so I haven't got a lot in common with them :/
And I kind of won't until I can get into my major's courses :/

But yes, I'm on a mini-hiatus, so won't be back for a few weeks~
So you don't really have to respond to this ^_^;;
I probably won't see your response~ :3

I'm sorry to hear that then. :'< </3
*hugglesquishes*
If it counts for something, I wouldn't backstab you here on Mene? >.<;;

Wow, can't imagine that. :x I would probably rot and die in a place like that. D: Even if I'm not exactly bad at sports or anything; I just don't think I'm good enough at it for it to be my main point in life, haha. ^^;;

Woah. @[email protected];; Surely not all children are like that though? :x I would be really saddened if that were true, but I wouldn't lose all faith now. Then again, I don't see what you're seeing (I see it, but it's a rare occurrence here), so I can't say for sure..

I hope for the best for you in the future then. :x I wish I could do more, but I will just hope you'll be strong enough until you find the right kind of crowd to be around in. Don't give up. <3

Yeah, a lot of my good friends are all my classmates in my majors. Actually, I'm friends, or at the very least good acquaintances with everyone in my year taking up Journalism. xDD;; I'm hoping you'll meet the same kind of awesome people with the same interests once you get into your majors then, since yeah, you will have more in common with them. ^^

Oh well, I already started replying, so might as well finish what I started noh? xDD;; Hope to see you in a few weeks then! I'll (hopefully) still be somewhat active by then? Haha. xDD;;

Lulz. xDD;;
I have a lot of readings this semester as well. :x Although thankfully they're really awesome readings! ^^ For one, we're reading a lot of creative nonfiction, feature stories, and travelogues for two of my classes (they're pretty similar but not, haha). And then I have my Victorian literature readings, mainly Pride and Prejudice, Jane Eyre, and the like. So, I'm happy about my readings, even if I do sort of resent the fact that I'm pressured to read them quickly, haha. ^^;;

I kinda wish I had more actual books to read, but ehh.. maybe now I can read my own books that I've been putting off. :XD

The Rhetoric and Critical thinking class is an English class, where you write nothing but essays. xD Fun stuff~ The Music class has me worried..the book is actually the nicest looking one, and it's really pretty actually, but inside the book...are music notes..and the teachers website shows what we'll be doing...the class is going to move so fast it seems, I'll have a hard time keeping up. I haven't had a music class in over 5 years. D:

Essays are nice because you can 'fight' to say why your answer is the better one, instead of some clinical 'choose the BEST/BETTER answer that really isn't the best, cause we suck.' multiple choice question.

Very true Chunsa, haha. xDD;;

The kind of test I hate the most though is the one that has two statements per number, and for each number you either have to choose:
A. Both statements are correct
B. The first statement is correct but the second statement is wrong
C. The first statement is wrong but the second statement is correct
D. Both statements are wrong

I. HATE. THOSE! D8<
*stabs them to death*
Dealing with one statement enough, so dealing with another one is hard. D: Especially when you're sure of one, but aren't sure on the other, and then you end up getting the answer to the number wrong in the end. ;o; </3

@Rylynne: I hate those type of m/c tests too!

Usually when I have m/c tests like that the question has several statements under it listed as i. ii. iii. etc. and under it are the A, B, C, D, or E options saying i. and ii. or i. and iii. etc. Then it gets even more complex if the original question says choose the incorrect statements and some of the statements have negatives in them too. D:
