Haha... I have a kiddo who is enrolled in... well, not a psych high school, but an extremely supportive school created specifically for kiddos who struggle with mental health. They do exist! Just without the scary stereotypes of restraints and forced med compliance.
Yep, that right there. The lack of being around and stuff. I just can't do it. It's the push I've needed to begin looking into private practice. I've no desire to jump in until I'm fully licensed, but I am going to see what I need to do, so that I am ready to begin once I do my two years where I am now or wherever I go if I can't do it.
Kids need supervision. If I had my own practice I'd be fine to work when she's in school and be done after.

I most definitely have a few kids who could benefit from something like that.
I think it's a good idea for you. Just for the sake of Terra.

I'm okay with the thought of being gone three nights, but not really any more. I won't have a choice if the families don't want earlier hours, so my hands are a bit tied. The flexibility I thought was there isn't, so... heh. I'm not making any decisions or freaking out yet. I'll instead be grateful that we COULD financially survive if I worked a little less, provided that we get cracking on our credit card. We've been negligent since getting the house, simply because we could do this or that without it breaking the bank. We probably should have been putting that money to debt. Eh. *shrug* Live and learn!

And if nothing else, YOLO!!!
And Chi I feel your pain. Aaron won't work 2nds because of this and never seeing Pam. She doesn't need supervision but at the same time her mom worked 2nds and she was miserable. *sigh*

That is true. We've been YOLOing it financially, but we need to reign it in. I'm good with the budget when I crack down, and it's that time! I'm thinking by tax return we might be able to get things 25% decreased. It depends on how much the needed household things cost. I can't imagine a chimney sweep is that bad.
With work I'm just gonna trudge on and change it. I went and looked over my job offer letter, and it does say that 3/4ths (salaried) is an option for clinicians that can't keep up with their productivity. I'll do what I can and then just switch over when it's time. I say "when" as I know when a full-time load hits I won't be able to do it.

I've been having to use my credit card for the last two weeks because I had a fraudulent charge of $1.07 on my debit card and they had to cancel it and get me a new one. And because of the Home Depot hacking, the debit card makers were insanely backed up. I FINALLY have my debit card in, but I've racked up WAY more on my credit card than I like. I'm not at all happy about that, but it wasn't exactly an option.
Anyway, I'm going to miss something fun tonight because it's going to be too late when it ends for me to be able to teach tomorrow.

Ugh more annoyance at work. Just shit changes and while they change the wording in our handbook, there's no way you can look up everything every time someone asks...We have weekly meetings, and it seems like we spend more time screwing around playing games and stupid stuff than actually getting some useful training in. /sigh
I'm just glad tomorrow is Friday. Aaron has a long 3 day weekend and I'm not going to work it...Not like I can get any hours as people are just clambering for hours...I've been assigned 20 a week for the past couple of weeks and have had to grab stuff from other people. One of my main sources of getting time has been saying she's looking for other work as well so I may end up loosing her as a source of hours once she's gone. :/
OK other than that I think things are going OK.

I am beyond glad that tomorrow is Friday. I have a full day. I set up opening services for my new referral and at a glance it looks like I'll me full-time and then some by adding this client. Things are going to quickly turn crazy next week onward, but still, I'm just going to go with the flow and see what happens. :s
Here's hoping we're all less stressful and get recharged over the weekend. Cole works tomorrow and Saturday, so I'll have time with Terra. I'm not sure what we'll go do... depends on the weather.

I think we were ALL ready for Friday today. Too bad I volunteered to take my Aca Deca team to the windmill museum tomorrow.
At least they're good kids and the windmill museum is pretty interesting. And Daddy's making pancakes in the morning!

Thanks hon! We actually had a really great time. We had a few people join our group AT the museum while I was explaining all of the science behind the windmills and stuff. Haha. It was a lot of fun. The kids LOVED it. Which makes me feel like it was a TOTAL success. \o/

Yes. Especially right before the mini meet. I really want my kids to do well in the meet. Even though I know we won't be Lubbock High. I forgot to bring home stuff to grade, but I'm strangely okay with it. It was nice to have a legitimate weekend!

This weekend was good, but not long enough.
I picked up the hobby of crochet, and literally got lost in it all weekend...like seriously. I was fixated. It felt good to 'lose' myself.

I have a couple. It isn't anything too exciting but let me see if I can link.
That is one of the projects completed this weekend. I am trying to perfect my tamagotchi cases and have been trying different yarn types and techniques. I have learned how to change to different yarns and how to increase/decrease, how to do a double crochet...basics. I started off trying to just crochet rows in a straight line then learned how to make it circular.
Eventually I'd like to try more complicated things but I'm not trying to over do it...These simple cases I can easily squeeze out while at work provided I keep a rough tally on what pattern I'm on.
I'd like to try my hand at crocheting some scrubbies and maybe some towel topper kinda stuff. I'm really enjoying it and it's helping me to focus some of my energy which is definitely a plus.

Hai again Chi! *waves* Your thread says to ask about Ei's or Ci's, and I'm looking for loads of them, lol. I'm looking for any Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years related items for prizes and giveaways. Ei's, Ci's, commons, etc. Do you have anything available? I'm not looking to pay past average MP price, since I'm not keeping any of them.

For the older years I do. What sets are you looking for? I should have most things from 2007-2010, maybe a bit later. I need to check my mule. xD

Oh, Chi, I'm looking for literally everything. Anything at all that could be considered Thanksgiving/Fall and Christmas/Winter. From blue commons, brown and red commons and accessories, to snowflakes to Ei's and Ci's and everything in between. Especially since I hope to keep my thread going in years to come. I hate how Mene has gone so down hill. I really want to do something that gets people chatting and making friends and gets noobs involved and happy. This is the best thing I could think of, lol. I'm sorry I can't be more specific on items. If I was, I'd have a list of hundreds of items, I just don't have the time to make something like that.
