Our country does not need licenses or special whatevers to get fire crackers, just buy and do whatever you wish with it. Stray gunshots not much anymore since the authorities have made a very good amount of effort to be able to curb such instances from happening and they have become stricter upon the matter. But do not worry, the instances of accidents this year have become lesser and lesser already. People are starting to learn to be less trigger happy -with the fire crackers and guns, especially on the less now- during the NY. ^^ They rather party. But that's given you're from the same country as I am. Just a possible why he asked if your fingers are all intact... |

We have a scary NY tradition over here. The top three noise makers here during the event: 1. Fire works. 2. Karaoke or just plain singing ---usually done while being drunk or you just sound really bad while trying to be drunk. 3. Random things like car honking and torotot - they're paper horns lined with this kind of plastic for you to blow in and such - Oddly enough I just heard 1 and 2 last January 1. Not much of car honking though. Fire cracker practice back in the past was very very reckless! People would get rushed one after the other for it. Sometimes they were the primary victims -those who actually held the fire works- or were secondary -those thrown at by accident/intentionally- and all that. Either way, bad! : < The advertisements back then were also...very very gory. @[email protected] They either showed direct images of people being rushed and all or used symbolism that planted images and let you imagine ---the second being worse in my opinion, more haunting. Even the stray bullets have lessened this year. Thank goodness! No more random people dying. But pregnant women getting rushed and delivering babies? Always there. :3 This avatar is called the 'White spent more than five days with a high gold count and keeled over to buy underwear at least to satiate her need to spend with such amount- O________o; But people think it's the 'Baby New Year' look though! It's pretty random. I just wanted something new really. ...I auto bought it for 5,500. >>; |

Filipinos. ^^ We call ourselves as such. But I don't know who correct that is since I think a teacher once told us that the language/subject teaching the language was Filipino while the person who is from the Philippines is Pilipino. Or was it the other way around? I think I'll just say Philippine Citizen to be safe? XDDD'
._. A lot of people have died due to karaoke here. They sing a certain song and then they die. I don't know why but it just happens. Some die because their interpretation is perhaps wrong---like not much emotion or perhaps... Bleh. I don't know. It's a rather strange thing I tell you. I don't know how to explain it. They die singing My Way... Impossible Dream. =o=; Nuu. I don't play with firecrackers. Mom won't let me. It's only me and her around. She's not exactly in the prime of her youth - at 72 - and with a fractured but operated hip. It's not advisable to just do something bold and then get into trouble in the process. It would be a difficult matter for both of us... So no. Don't risk. Though I would like to. Yup. Back in the day they do. But it's gotten stricter and there's an implementation of the total gun ban during the holidays. Now there are barely reports of people getting hit by stray bullets now. Yup, they're legal. Just not during the holidays. ...Scare campaign I tell you. One was like showing a pair of hands with a voice singing over Ten Little Indians and by the tenth... The voice started crying since it could not finish the song anymore with images of accidents flashing before the screen and yes, the hands... I'd rather not describe. Stay home or inside some place safe. Like a safe distance. A lot of people here do go out and join the parties hosted by big people like TV stations doing count downs and all that jazz. Here where I'm at, if you want brilliant fire works you have to go look for some place where the people are rich and willing to spend money on them. Yup. It's really weird how people die from karaoke. Usually it's because there are some people that once they hold the microphone, they don't let it go and then fights ensue. -.-;
Yes. As in Frank Sinatra. Usually men in their thirties or older. Even The Impossible Dream kills. Then... Green Green Grass of home next me thinks? I don't know. But usually it's My Way. I think my mother does. She's a retired justice of the Court of Appeals and I guess she took it for security reasons? Or it's my dad's. Not quite sure. It's secret but of course I'm not that dumb. ;3 She got it when she was still in the judiciary me thinks. I saw a cute advertisement for smoking but it killed someone. A hamster. So...sad. ; ; Not from here though. Nope. Not here. Yup. Leech! That's okay---I don't have to spend at all! Yes they do but they already showed off and all that last Christmas. I was asleep during Christmas eve when they were all going crazy! I do get a feeling that the reason why they didn't host a second one was because this year the huge Christmas tree in the boulevard was toppled over and wrecked by a storm. It cost half a million and was due to be finished the week after only to be toppled over. They reconstructed it quickly but no longer on the spot previous and looked...shabbier. YES. HAPPY BROKE IS GOOD. XD -giggles- I like spending...when I can. DX |

Yup. Karaoke is serious business over here. ._______.
So serious people DIE for it. Then again when most people get intoxicated they get into some sense of euphoria 'feeling' that their endorphines have reached a critical level and thus feel happy like seriously happy only to feel terribly after since it was just a temporary burst of which. And then people grab their whatevers to whack someone else because their 'happy time' was interrupted. Sigh. Crimes of 'passion' =_________=; Accurately said, she was a former justice. :3 Only the trial courts get called judges here. Nah, no ones ever tried to do that or get back at her. Although she has crossed famous and controversial names, it seems like she's some iron fist that doesn't get intimidated or untouched by it. Though when she was still being nominated into the CA, someone tried to block her by saying she was a bad friend and such---until you found out that the reason why this woman was doing so was because my mom didn't let her client win, considering her client was really at fault in the first place. My mom has principles. She doesn't let friendship and all that jazz get in the way. :3 It's not really cute but... in a way it was. Kind of morbid and a little unbelievable though. The Ad was like this: guy was applying the carpet in a certain room. He was in a hurry. When he was done, he went up to look for his smoke and was giddy when he did. Wife even gave it to him since he couldn't find it. He goes back inside the now carpeted room then find a lump in the carpet. He crushes it underfoot so it flattens. Daughter comes in and goes 'Have you seen my hamster daddy?' She also asks mom and nobody could tell her. Dad looks down at the lump and swallows nervously. When the two ladies leave, he lifts his foot and the former lump is bleeding. Then a statement flashes 'Smoking kill' @[email protected]; Okay. Not cute. ...That's not scary anymore. THAT'S PLAIN DISTURBING!!! DX Opening...someone's back. NUUU!!! Yup. An outdoor Christmas tree hosted by the provincial government. It was beautiful and then a storm surprised us. ._.; And the scary thing was, that was just a signal number 1 storm which was wrongly reported as mere monsoon/seasonal showers... It toppled over trees and ruined that thing as well. I think the nearby acacia trees at school even broke it's branches and blocked the major road for a while. Then at the boulevard with the outdoor tree, one of the trees also fell over and disfigured the fence. Dx; YES FOR HAPPY BROKE. I'M HAPPY BROKE AGAIN TOO!!! XD I finished my quest for a gown to give to someone! >w<; Now to quest again for myself. ...It never ends I suppose. Dx' |
