The yolk is high in cholesterol so be sure to avoid eating that part too much xD
and by the way, the chick's bones is soft, you can swallow it! and it tastes like soft-boiled egg >w< The quality of balut depends on how many days old the egg is, the best one is 15 days 8D You can eat balut with salt/vinegar if you don't like it's original taste. |

one egg is like... below 25 cents (somewhere there) xD There's a balot restaurant here in the Philippines! They cook balut dishes that suit foreigner's palate. |
