Ooh, straight hair. ^^ I have a hair straightener but I think it didn't work too well on my hair or I didn't know how to use it properly. xD So I just decided to screw the straightener and get my hair chemically straightened. :mrgreen:;;

  I've had a few straighteners over the years and alternative methods of straightening my hair but in the end I realized it all came down to what flat iron I was using. o3o And my hair is really thick and coarse so if my hair gets straight I'm 100% sure anyone elses will too. xD
  
  The one I'm using currently is the Ga.Ma Ceramic Flat Iron. o3o It's magical, and well worth it's price. <3 It's said to be gentle to the hair too because of the ion thingy but I'm doubtful to that. xD

The straightener I bought was a teflon steam one.. hair straighteners were more expensive back then and not as developed. xD But I think the best ones are the ceramic ones? ^^

• Anoni; It would be stressful to me even if it was the only thing I was doing. ;3; I get stressed really easily, especially by games like that. D: There's this one card game that I don't know the name of but two people get a stack of cards each and start putting them up on the table, one by one, and when the same cards show up you have to be the first to put your hands on the card and yell a word. ;3; I stopped playing that since it stressed me so much. xD o3o
  
  Aaw, sounds like your hair needs to rest. <3 It always grows out "untouched" though, right? So if you just let it grow without doing stuff to it then it should be fine again. <33
  
  Ghetto ways yo. xD Like putting your hair in a tight bun after showering and let it dry like that, or make a pony tail with several, uh, I don't know the english name for it. o3o Those things you use to tie up your hair with. xD That prevents the hair from curling/getting wavy, but takes much longer to dry. o3o Or blowdrying while combing your hair and pulling on it. o3o That sounds more painful than it is though. xDD Ghetto ways. xD <33
  
  Oh and I also tried one of those thingies that roll on their own and are supposed to comb and pull the hair at the same time but it was weak, weak I say! My hair killed it. xD
  
  I have no clue what my previous straighteners were, but I know that they took ages to get hot, and that they never kept that heat. The current one gets hot in 5 seconds and stays hot and just gets hotter and hotter. o3o And yes, it really is 5 seconds. xD I was amazed the first time I used it.

I'm going to wait till my hair goes back to normal, and then I'm going to straighten it again. xD *shot* My hair is currently bleached and permed.. the tips are worse because they had been straightened before too. D: Oh well, I don't like my natural hair. ;-;

Wow, putting your hair up in a bun keeps it straight? :shock: It'd make my hair wavy for sure. xD And I know what you mean with the pulling thing.. I used to do that to make my hair even straighter. xD When you said alternative ways, I thought you meant something like ironing your hair with an iron. @[email protected] Oh you didn't like those rolly brushes? xD (I don't know the name of it either). I found that it worked pretty well for me, and it even gave a nice slight wave. ^^;
