nilP; Yeah I've read a few reviews and stuff but I think like all except one or two mentioned that the story was pretty.. lacking? And that the characters weren't that "deep" etc. But it didn't stop the game from getting a high score. xD Famitsu gave them 10/10 if I'm not mistaken and they've only done that to a handful of games. o:

I'm itching to play though, just need to find some time since I know that once I start playing I'll get lost in that world for at least a week. <3

The new battlesystem seems cool, I'm hoping that they'll keep it this way for the next games too, or build on that, and don't go back to the whole "lolscreenshatterrandomencounter" stuff. o3o;

@Neyor. One of the things i have heard from alot of places is that it is way to short and that it ends in nothing really (i though that sounded strange when i read it since well it got a perfect score ??)
Famitsu is ?? is it one of japans largest game magazines ?? in that case i have heard of it otherwise i dont kow it.
The battlesystem was orignally thought up to be for an MMORPG right ??
and i have heard that you can just put your chars in a random place to level up thanks to the "script" system ??

nilP; I've heard the opposite, that it's really long. xD And that the game can get a bit boring and would've been better as a 20-30 hour game than a 40-60 hour game. o3o

Yeah that's what Famitsu is, it's like the bible for gamers or something. xP

No clue about the battlesystem, but it reminds me of Vagrant Story and it's the same producer or something as the Vagrant Story game. :3

Well yeah you can program the dudes and dudettes with the Gambit system, but it's not flawless so you'll still have to take over your characters and give them manual commands. But for the mindless leveling and stuff it's quite good. :3

Anyways I find it odd that it keeps getting such high scores since everyone seems to be complaining alot. x_x I guess it's not as bad as they make it out to be.

@ neyor: hmm, well i like fighting games. i just don't like RPGs with other people games XD;;; i'd be too selfish anyway hahah. want to know the storyline that others had come up with. may be my idea of mmorpg is a misconception but either way, i don't like the idea of RPGing with other people XD;;;; not RPing, mind you hahha. RPing i don't mind. RPGing, i do XD;;;

and yah, fighting games is only one of those 'temporary release' kind of fun. i don't like to keep at it too long lol.

I've never read it either, I don't think it gets translated. But people usually post their scores on different sites and say what they had to say about the games etc. :3

ShoSho; I think it's quite nice to RPG with others, not so alone all the time. xD And if you don't feel like having a major storyline thingy that most RPGs have then it's great. :3 Also that you can play by yourself if you want to. ^-^ Then I guess there's the fact that MMO's can never end. o3o Most games aren't that fun to keep playing over and over again, you get to know the story and the characters and everything. MMO's can get like that in one sense but since you're always meeting new people and things happen differently it's quite "new" for a while.

Oh and you can actually RP in an RPG. xD It's very common actually. o3o There are even special RP servers in some games. :3 The same way there are special PvP servers. xD <3

yeah, that's definitely true. Gaia's grown so much XD; I still cherish it for a lot of the friends I've met there, and the pretty cool admins hehe. I also love a lot of the items there, too X3; so at least, I'll never leave Gaia completely, even though I'm not that active there anymore XD;;; only for art-gathering-purposes lol
