I actually think I'm going to be a commons whore instead.
There are more items and i can be more creative with those.
i will still get CIs but it's not my main quest!

Ya I know quite a few people who have done that too.
You've started early enough in the site that it shouldn't be too difficult for you to collect all the rares eventually. It's people who start years from now that will have issues.
