How was your weekend Eroy?

Hey Siz! It was alright.. I spent the whole weekend cleaning and seasoning an old dutch oven and it's still not finished. DX Not really, I did other stuff too. Kevin, Cindy, Collin, Matt and I went to some Flying Saucer bar (I think that's what it's called) out at the P&L district Saturday night. It was fun.. I want to go back for dinner sometime. They had 200+ beers, it was amazing! :shock:

Oh yeah, Collin mentioned your dutch oven and the Flying Saucer. Seasoning takes quite awhile. It's a process, but it'll be well worth it in the end I think. :)

I've been to a Flying Saucer in Dallas. It's a pretty cool place, and yeah, their beer selection is AMAZING.

The 'Taw was good. We didn't do too terribly much, but I like it that way. XD Some rolling in the hay, a lot of Bully-playing (I'm at 51% now!), a lot of driving around and poking. We saw Kung Fu Panda and the Hulk at the drive-in... We hung out with Judd and Cami and drank beer and played Mario Galaxy... That's about it really. It was good times though. I didn't want to come back to work. :(

Ya.. it's definitely a process. I've oiled and baked it off twice already and I'm still getting black residue out of the bottom. All the info I've seen says to keep going until the whole pot turns black though so I guess I'll just keep at it. :sweat:

Uh, I kept nodding off during the Hulk movie b/c it was the later one. XD That's no surprise really. I thought it was kind of boring (what I saw). Seemed like it was all about hulk-like dudes fighting and grunting. I'm not sure there was much storyline...

Kung Fu Panda, on the other hand, was a cute movie, and I quite enjoyed it. :D

Are you doing the Flea tonight? Collin and I discussed it briefly last night...

Well. It was rusty and nasty before.. So I looked up how to get rid of that and it said to run it through a self cleaning cycle on the oven. So I did that and it loosened everything up. Then I scrubbed the shit out of it with hot water and copper wool. Now it's brown... which they said means it isn't seasoned enough. So I'm going to do another round of oil/baking tonight when I get home. I might try it at a higher temperature. Something I read said that brown means you aren't seasoning it at a high enough temperature.

Kung Fu panda huh? We thought about seeing that but figured Matt's mom would buy him the DVD for christmas or something XP

Actually, we were talking about going to the flea market. We hadn't made an official decision or anything but I would like to go. You guys wanna come with?

with gold and items I paid 18-18.3k. I kinda wish I had bid less because I had to sell a lot of commons ( all my wings ) to buy them, but I think it was worth it since I love them so much ^_^
