Hey Siz :hug: It was good.. Too cold to swim, but I got to play on the new wave runner. My ass hurts now though. How was your weekend? How's Ian doing? Are you still in the 'taw?

Too cold to swim? O_O Really? I guess it has been raining a lot. But it got pretty hot out yesterday...

I'm back in KC now. My weekend sucked balls until I went to see Ian. I was just feeling mopey after calling him and hearing about what happened. But he is feeling better. He's taking his meds like he's supposed to, so now we just wait and see if he doesn't have a seizure for six months. So he can't drive anymore, which sucks, but at least he's not out on the road seizing. :(

A better update is in CO&C if you haven't seen it yet. :)

But yeah, I hung out with Kevin on the 4th. CC wanted me to go to this party at Hannah's apt but I didn't feel much like being social. So Kevin and I drank some beers and went and watched the downtown fireworks. I have a PERFECT spot to go to next year, so we'll have to do it to it if you're all in town.

Yay thanks. Now if only I could find someone selling the anklets. XD;

Siz ~ Ya I saw that post right after I responded to you here. :lol: Ya.. the weather was pretty cloudy at the lake up until yesterday.. but we left early in the morning. Oh well, there's always a next time.

That sucks Ian can't drive for 6 months. It's weird because there's a guy here at work who had the same thing happen to him.. so him and another guy who live out in no where missouri carpool together. I hope his meds do the trick and keep him free from seizures. ;_;

Oh really? Well if we don't go to the lake next year I'm totally down to see the KC fireworks. It's be FOREVER since I've seen them and they're usually pretty fabulous. How's Kevin doing? Still on the job hunt?

Yeah, I hope his meds work too. He's saying he's not feeling the side effects like last time, but he hasn't been to work on them yet, so we'll see how today goes. I guess he was just uber forgetful last time and really out of it. But he NEEDS to take them, so he may as well start getting used to it.

Yeah, the KC fireworks WERE pretty fabulous. I was impressed. There were a couple of shells in particular that I wished there were more of. This sparkley silver and hot pink number, and a gold/purple one. :D

Kevin's doing pretty well. I keep forgetting you weren't at Collin's party -- He got a manager in training job at a lumber yard somewhere and they want to transfer him elsewhere to manage a store at some point, so I guess him and Cynthia will be moving eventually, which is good for him. Cindy says she doesn't want to work anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter where they go. XP

Oh really?! I didn't know that.. good for him. It's too bad it's not the job he wants but what can you do. Ya, I know Cindy doesn't want to work. It makes me wonder why she tried so damn hard in college. Can they really live off kevin's salary alone?
