• Ya there are. I'm a purple belt. Which is fairly high up but I'm not a black belt or anything. lol

• Cool. In my class I used to take purple was right before black. Or blue. *not sure* xD

• When I was purple belt, I learned staff. Right now I'm a Black Belt.

  White
  Yellow
  Green
  Purple
  Blue
  Brown
  Red
  Black
  
  And then they have things like "Green Black" and "yellow black", which were really pointless to me

  No belt
  White belt
  Yellow
  Green
  Purple
  Brown
  Brown 2
  Black.

• No belt? o_o

• Ya you have to test to get your white belt. So you're an ultra newbie when you don't have a belt at all.

  My teacher just got his masters degree about 5 years ago. 10th degree black belt. He's a hard ass o_o!
