  • I hope the pain goes away. Mysterious / weird pains are the worst, especially if there isn't explanations for it, therefore you are in pain and you are paranoid that it can be something serious.

  • I actually get it quite often.
    I've been to the doctors twice with it already. They don't really know what it is but gave me tablets to take when i get the pain .. i never really do but when i do they don't make much of a different.
    And it's not just a small pain, it like really aches and sometimes i can't move properly. :/
    Eee. It usually goes away within half an hour though.

  • Yeah it can be.
    At the minute it's quite mild, so i'm okay. :)
    But it's annoying that they don't know what it is. And i hate going to the doctors so i don't want to keep going back for the same thing and have them prod me.
    :| Idiot doctors.
    I had a kidney infection for 6 months not last year but the year before. I kept having these odd pains on my right side and just above my tummy button XD and when they came bad i couldn't physically walk. I kept seeing the doctors about that too and they just told me to take some ibuprofen :/
    Then one night it got so bad i could hardly breathe because of the pain so my parents took me to like an A&E place thing and they diagnosed me that night.

  • Understandable about not wanting to go to the doctors over and over for the same thing.
    Nyah, that sounds painful. The only organ infection I've ever had was a lung infection, it felt like knives going through my chest and back whenever I coughed or breathed deeply.

    Doctors seem so inept sometimes. I was diagnosed with depression when I was 14 and I was prescribed Zoloft, but it made me feel more suicidal than when I wasn't taking anything at all. I kept telling everyone that, and the just kept upping my dosage until I went to a different psychologist.

    :\ sad to think that it takes some many tries before being diagnosed correctly / given the right meds.

  • Ouch, a lung infection? That really does sound painful.
    I've had family members who went to doctors and had them prescribe medication that just made them feel worse. I think my mum even went along once with someone and told them but they still didn't lesson.
    And i've been to see the doctors about my problems sleeping too and they only ever suggest to do something that relaxes me at night.
    Eg, read a book or listen to music. If i read a book i get that into it i read for hours and hours until about 1 or 2am and then when i listen to music i like to hum along to myself and just listen for hours too.
    They ish silly doctors.

    I really don't understand most doctors. The sad part? I've been without medication for 2 years, and I've never felt better in the entire time I was on anti-depressants.

    Well, it could help you to sleep by drinking warm tea or taking anti-hystamins like benadryal. If that doesn't work ask a doctor about Trazodone. It's a anti-depressant, but ti's used commonly as a prescribe sleep aid, I've taken it for four years. (life long insomniac).

  • They all sound soothing but i'm apparently not allowed to take any sleep aided medication until i'm 18 .. thankfully that is only until January.
    I know i'm not an insomniac but i don't sleep normally like most people. :/

  • Ah damn. I just realised i'm at college on Halloween. I thought we had half-term :/
    No parties for me >.<
    I can't wait for Mene's halloween event. It will be the first one that i'm going to actually be at!
    And i'm excited about the new CI's .. not that i'll be getting them anytime soon though. :(

  • I have no idea where or what I'll be doing on Halloween. But I am definitely looking forward to the event on Mene as well, I caught the tail end of the carnival thing.
