I notice that writing is a lot harder for me when I use paper. I guess its because some things only make sense if you get it written down immediately and I obviously type a lot faster than I can write.

Magi ~ At first, all I thought was: Oh, the arm's a bit too long, then I thought: Ah, I forgot to colour that small spot yellow. Oh well, the rest of his outfit makes up for it. Wait, something's wrong with his outfit. Oh my god he's missing his arm! And then I screamed quietly, and thumped my head on the desk while wailing about how stupid I am. Got my roommates attention, who then had to determine what the hell it was that I was mumbling inanely to myself between half-sobs before she could even begin to try and help me.
And such is the end to my day. English accents are one of my funnest. Me mum's English, so I got it from her. Along with me Scots and Irish. I got the German one from my German nannies that I had as a child and the others I learned from tv and the like. ^^ You should practice it, that's the only way to get better at it. I love creeping people out. It's somewhat of a hobby of mine. Is it the same for you? *Joins you somehow where you live to aid in bugging out the street-dwellers* I fixed it! *Makes copies of the picture and throws them like confetti* <3 Neither of my parents have accents, but my descent is a mixture of Irish, Swiss, Luxembourg(ian? xD), and English thrown in for good measure. xP So I might try to practice an accent from one of those places. xD Yes, indeed it is, in fact, I'm wearing a t-shirt at the moment which I bought online. It reads - "9 out of 10 voices in my head agree that I'm sane." I plan to buy another one soon that says - "I used to be a schizophrenic, but we're alright now." So, YAY for insanity and creeping-out-ness. :3 |

I'm cheering for the Cardinals because I like Kurt Warner. He's the only football player who's name I know. I was out with a friend once who was completely not a sports guy. He was annoyed that a friend of his wasn't coming with us because he was watching the World Series. So, we're at the restaurant, which was kind of a sports bar, and he points at the tv and says, "Is that the World Series?" and I said, "No. That's basketball." Edit: Oh, and sure. 1.2K. We finished watching X-men two. Fun! And we also tried to break into our other friends' room in order to get back my one friends' chemistry lab that's locked in there. It didn't work. ... I am insane. >D I am Chaos.
My "accent" actually originates from when I was a child. My inner ears were constantly full of fluid, so I didn't hear very well when I was supposed to be learning the language and, as such, learned it incorrectly. I spent some ten years in speech therapy, resulting in the ability to talk just slightly not normal. I'd like my accent more if I had an easy explanation for it that didn't involve a medical history. Like if people asked where I was from and I could say, "South Africa." I enjoyed the second X-men movie. <3 Enjoyed the third one too, though I could understand what so many people disliked about it. |

Oh, I'm glad your ears have been fixed, Or at least I hope they have. While it may be longer for you to explain to people where your accent has originated from, a least you can say it came from something much more interesting than simply growing up in a different country. I like them all! Which mutant power, if you could have one, would you want? I never knew people disliked the third. Maybe I should get out more often. What was it that they disliked you think? |
Oh, it just sort of became the Wolverine's story. It used my least favorite line of all times, (any derivation of, "Only you can stop them!"). It was like all characters that weren't the Wolverine became insignificant.
If I could have any power, it would be to be able to read people's minds. I have an overactive imagination and am always imagining slights that probably aren't true, so I think it would keep me sane. XD And, if someone actually was intending to insult or hurt me, at least I'd know instead of wondering about it. And yesh, my ears have been fixed. They were in 3rd grade, I think. |
Oh, I do wish it would have had given more attention to the other characters, but perhaps they had to have chosen one or it would have become too complicated.
