EDIT: I had up to seven holes in my right ear, and one in my left. xD I let two of them close because they wouldn't heal properly. I keep debating whether I want to pierce the left ear up, but I never wear earrings as it is. >>; I want a lip or brow piercing, too, but I also want to some day be hired by a professional organization, and neither of those will fly at all. xD I'm too chicken to get my tongue pierced. My sister said it was like biting your tongue. x_x;

I have my ears pierced... Once in each ear.

They're messed up though. They're extremely uneven. Noticeably so. And even though I didn't wear earrings for years, they haven't closed up at all.

As far as the labret piercing, if I got it done, I'd have to listen to my mother tell me how stupid it looks. And what a bad idea this piercing or that tattoo was. I'll probably avoid doing anything of that nature until I'm out of the house. xD As it stands, I'm so back and forth about it. I probably should avoid it until I've decided I actually want to do it.

Vah: Yeah. I try to stick to dangly earrings if I wear any 'cause then it's less noticeable. I usually don't wear any though, so it's no biggie.

So, this is going to sound silly after my raving about the whole dominatrix club thing, but the talk of piercings weirds me. XD I'm like, "Ugh, tongue piercing."

Edit to Anthy: Don't you remember when we talked to someone about doing that, and he said that the one whole would just fall into the second hole? No thank you.

Cami: I don't remember how close your holes were. I'd have to look again. Next time I see you, I'll look. xD I do vaguely recall this conversation though.

The hole's wouldn't be touching originally, but the skin in between the two holes would not hold up.

VVicked: Yeah, I work for a Wal*Mart, so I only pierce ears, and I use the Inverness piercing system, which consists of a gun and a sterilized earring cartridge. xD I've had a professional piercer stop and talk about why it's bad. I haven't had any problems with it, but I've seen some pretty bad scar tissue. x_x

Yeah, well, my ears were done wrong.

Anthy's had all kinds of trouble with the piercing gun. Misfires and various other sue-worthy offenses. He's just forgotten about them because Wal-Mart drugs their employees.

Yeah, we had an issue where Inverness changed their packaging and, where they used to recommend tipping the earring (pushing just the tip out) for aiming, they suddenly came back and said, "Oh, you're not supposed to do that, silly!" It worked fine the first year and a half I pierced. They claimed they didn't change anything, but I don't believe that. I refused to pierce for a while after I had a really bad misfire. The earring went into the kid's ear (he was probably 16 or 17), but the post got stuck in the plastic beside the back instead of going into the back. His father used a pocket knife to push it out. I asked if he wanted to talk to management, and he said no, perfectly pleasant, let me do the other ear, and they paid for the earrings and left. The next day he called up, said I handled the situation crappily, didn't offer to call management, didn't offer them any kind of discount, and handed him a knife because I didn't know what I was doing. I was infuriated. >/ I admitted to not being sure what to do, but I offered to call a manager over more than once. And, when it happened and I needed to fill out an incident report, the manager (a real bee-otch) came over and asked me what the hell I'd done, and said the guy was after my job. Naturally, I was scared by that, but it wasn't my fault our equipment was faulty. We'd called Inverness several times to address the issue, and we were told we couldn't turn customers away.

We finally stopped piercing when the same thing happened to a baby. Then Inverness finally got their butts out and told us what 'we were doing wrong'. It was months before I pierced again, and was finally told that I had to pierce if I wanted to remain in my department. 9_9;

Really, I don't think I could pierce with a needle. Needles kind of weird me out in general, and I can't watch them go into skin. xD Or anything else, for that matter. Except cloth. I can sew if I need to. But yeah, watching medical shows, if they pick up a syringe, my head is turned the other way. >>; I never watch shots or blood work getting done. x_x; Mind you, I can watch a scalpel cut into flesh, but a needle being stuck under the skin? Forget it. DX

Which is really a shame, because piercing ears is kind of fun. xD I get some real characters in.

I love swords. xD I was excited when my mom brought back some decorative swords for me from her work trip to Japan. xD Knives fascinate me, but I've not been trained to use one, either in combat or ritual. I keep meaning to look stuff up.
