Oh, okay, I suppose. Been doing freelance and contract work, but I want a real job. My lease runs out in seven weeks, and I have no idea if I'm staying in this city or moving elsewhere.

Kara: I have options. I've only been in Boston for a couple of years, but I like it here. I have friends and I know my way around. Plus, I don't need to own a car, which is a major plus in my opinion. A good friend I've known since kindergarten lives in San Francisco and wants me to move there, but she just got married and has a full time job, so she wouldn't have a lot of time for me. There's no guarantee to be more jobs in San Fran than Boston, but there are less college students (and graduating college students who want to stay in the area and are looking for a job), and I haven't tried there yet. Or, I may just sell all my stuff and run off to a foreign country and spend all of my time writing. |

Cami ~ Hmm, the not needing to own a car is very good considering the price of gas nowadays, not to mention insurance. San Francisco sounds like a viable option but the fact that she wouldn't be about to help as much as she could lowers the allure. Jobs ... hmm ... if there are less people after them in San Fran then there will be more open to you. That kind of cancels out the lack of kindergarten friend aid ... Packing up and shoving off is also available. Depending on where you go, housing can be cheaper. You would however have to get a car depending. You must also take into consideration internet connection because that's important when staying in contact with peoples like Magi and I. -Nods at Magi's suggestion- Canada's a possibility! Determined by where you go in Canada, you can still be rather close to Boston. : D @ Magi ~ What's aboot the bear skeens? And the Deer h'antlers? That might work. I'm going back to Uni after the summer so my room's going to be free for the next three years (Minus my visits home). You have 7 weeks to figure it all out.
