The car isn't in too bad shape, surprisingly. The thing that holds the muffler to the car corroded to the point it broke (obviously), so if they can put a new one on and weld it to the... er... foundation (good lord, I am not car-savvy :headdesk:), it won't cost much to fix.

If the muffler's kaput, who knows. :XD I asked him to let us know if anything else was wrong with it. He's a good guy and is always cost-efficient. He won't put something on that's not needed. It has to be falling off and dangerous before he'll try and pressure you.

Magi: I... I suppose you could be Flipperfish II.

Chi: Yay for not costing much. Hopefully it gets all fixed and you stop having car issues.

I hope that's the case, but the poor thing has between 150,000-160,000 miles on it. I don't expect it to make it through the entirety of my education. x_X

Cut up some teabiscuits and put butter and the meat pie stuff on top, then heated it up. c:

And that's not usually good, but at least you have a mechanic that can be trusted? :'D

Good news. It only cost a bit more than $100 to get it fixed (and an oil change). We have it back. Cole's out with it now and he said it's far less noisy than before. Gee, I wonder why. >>,
