Butter (my brother's dog) and I have had a long day. I had to go back to my apartment for u-haul to pick up the big box with all my stuff in it, and figured that as long as I was in the neighborhood, I'd drop off some library books I was finished with. I also needed to take Butter out, so I decided to make an adventure of it. I brought her with me on the bus, walking to my place, waiting for the u-haul people walking to the library, carried at a run back to the bus (which was arriving just ahead of me and only comes every half an hour, riding the bus again, and then walking back here. All this already took probably two hours, and then we discovered that the key my brother had given me for the apartment building (not the apartment itself) didn't work. So we tried calling my brother--he couldn't leave work because he had experiments going--and then went to McDonald's to get poor Butter some water (she was panting so bad).

Getting water was another adventure, but finally I managed to get a medium water and an ice cream cup for her to drink out of. She of course spills the first cup, spills it again (at which point I decided to hold it while she was drinking it, and keep it away from her when she wasn't. The holding part especially necessary as there was now very little water and I needed to tilt it for her to be able to get any.), and then a bit later I turned to grab the cup to see if she wanted any more, and she had somehow managed to spill that too. <<,,

We stopped in a park on the way back, partially because she refused to walk any further. She seemed much better after a bit, and I decided that we needed to go sit outside the apartment building in case someone else who lived here came by and got the outside door open. About halfway back, she refused to walk again, so I carried her the rest of the way. Luckily, the door was propped open when we got here (I guess someone was moving), and we made it back up to the apartment.

I gave her three treats for being mostly good.

Yeah, that game is kind of addicting, I just cant get out of the 20's

I haven't made 30K yet. I know it's all about combinations, but when I try to make big combinations, I tend to miss all of them. XD

I usually get 20K to 23K. I've gotten a combo of three a couple of times, and was shocked each time. XD

So, part of my hope in taking Butter on that adventure was that she would be too tired to bother me while I worked. Instead, she has decided to sleep on me.
