Unless the group I am placed in has the same mental level or mindset. It may sound elitist but I'm starting to understand why I worked so well when I was younger, I was often placed in groups that did with my style/feel so it was a very desirable environment.

College doesn't work that way... at least here.

I can relate to what you said about being in groups.

Being told you're dumb for not getting perfect grades is really not conducive to improvement in any way. u__u I got a C on a math test in... I think fourth grade, and my parents kept bringing it up for years. Now my mom denies it ever happened, and that they never expected me to get straight As. I think she is just regretting having such high expectations because now I refuse to believe her that I got into a good independent study program, because I don't think me meeting the 3.5 GPA requirement is anything to brag about.

Oh man, that blows. o_o I accidentally deleted my whole music library on iTunes once -- over 30 GB. It took me hours to put everything back in the right order. & I wish there was some sort of confirmation for deleting a playlist, because I've accidentally deleted some of mine before. -__-
